Is DBD Dying on PS4 and PS5?

Anytime I play as Killer or Suevivor I rarely if ever get matched with fellow Sony players. It’s gotten so bad I’m legitimately shocked when I see another Sony player in the lobby. Is the game dying on this console?

Not even close but you're just waaaay more likely to be matched with Xbox,Switch and PC players

Doubt it. I'd say ps4 has the largest console playerbase as it was released free on PS plus awhile back. This is all just complete speculation though. As a pc player, most of the survivors i get are not on PC. Most of the killer population is on PC though in red ranks. That's all the insight i can provide.

You have a harder time finding other people on the same platform no matter what. There will always be more people on other platforms than your own because there will always be 3 others to pull from.

Might just be where you live? I also play on PS4 and queue times are almost instant for both sides, little longer for killer atm. Even in a 2-man it's normally only a minute wait and that's around 2am.

Edit: Didn't read your thing properly. Yeah, it seems like with crossplay on you get put with other platforms more than your own. If you turn it off, you get near instant matches so it's hardly dying.

The killer que times I've gotten on PS4 tonight have been unacceptable. I know it's just 2 minutes or something, but when you used to have 30 seconds until lobby joins...
