It's the same for survivors though, both sides have their bad games but the player base is too stubborn to be like "well, maybe I just made some mistakes". I had some guys call my leatherface OP because they tried basement saving when I was leaving the basement. Like, c'mon bruh.

and I wish you the best of luck on your attempts to successfully belittle people, unfortunately by implying I somehow struggle because I find both sides easy you've failed your mission today, good luck dude!

The game is made where killers only benefits from a survivors mistake. There is no way a killer has an advantage, in any way, if a survivor plays perfect. The real problem is that when a killer does a mistake ea not benefittin a survivor's mistake, he can lose a match right there.
A good survivor>A good killer. If you ever complain in dbd as a survivor, its because you were bad and had to play differently. If you complain as a killer in dbd, its because you didn't have survivor making big mistakes where you could benefit from.
Its that simple really

Well this is embarrassing

"This is kinda dumb, saying one role is more fun watch is kinda dumb, its more of a preference!!!" What even if self awareness
Its obvious you're mad but for what? Are you an aspiring survivor streamer? I don't understand why you're so offended over the fact that most people don't watch exclusive survivor gameplay. I don't even know any of the people you named so i looked up morfs on youtube and his videos average a little under 2k views with his most popular being a whopping 15k. I think i have actually seen his little picture on a podcast before so wow you got me. But do me a favor and pick any 5 big dbd content creators who main killer and like why am i even explaining this everyone knows this is true this is so dumb lol
A lion isn't a mammal its a reptile because i said so

How can you grade the difficulty on both sides as if this is a single player game? Both sides are easy? When the unaccountable diversity of player skill is involved?
Nah, ain't buying what you're selling, cheif. One side has to be more difficult overall. The way your saying it suggests you survive and 4k every game you play. You're just justifying your own egotism at this point.

They did, you just weren't part of the group :)
I'm well aware my own form of humour is very subjective but please keep the snide remarks to yourself.

I don’t see how it’s any worse than any other of the other busted stuff they have been using. RNG mori pig, tombstone Myers, topknot Oni, etc etc

Oh my, I feel bad for you. You were trying to apologise to that guy but he thought you were being sarcastic. Sometimes people are just...weird.
On a more serious note, I kinda agree and disagree with you at the same time. Killer is harder than Survivor, no questions about it. But I don't think Killer is easy in general.

I agree!! It would be nice to keep the current mode as "casual", then have a serious rank mode.

I think the reason most streamers play survivor is less about the sides and more about survivor being more chill and less stressful. Like, you can hold m1 on a gen and read donations until you hear the terror radius or something happens. As killer you need to constantly be aware of your surroundings and paying attention at all times.

Is this game popular in Japan? And are these players invited or is it just "anybody can participate"? I just skipped through the videos and some of the plays were like something you see in a normal purple/red rank match. Like strange mindgames at save pallets from the killer, strange pathing from the survivors etc...
I like the conditions, having every perk only 1 times and blocking killers so you don't see Nurse and Spirit all the time leads to a greater variety and a more unexpected course of the match - compared to Hexy's tournament, where everyone was tryharding for the money and you could easily see this game isn't balanced for competitive play.
I sometimes watch e-sport games and i don't know a single game that needs to establish so much made-up rules by the organizers to balance things out. Like sometimes you have a character or playstyle that gets banned but most dbd tournaments are like a completely other game lol.

Have it your way, king. I'm not pressed.

yeah against incoordination killers can beat most matches but throw in swf and meta with GOOD survivors and killer barely stands a chance.
to me this event showcased this as the survivors were not that good in fact they gave me the impression they were new, didn't run meta, and the coordination was meh like that first game should have been a survivor win since oni on larry's and hakens is pretty bad due to all the angles and rooms survivors can turn into to prevent getting hit.
go watch previously hosted events that have actual good players and their is a drastic difference in skill and perk usage across both survivors and killers.
lastly this was hosted with desync still a thing and that is making playing optimally in a chase as survivor impossible you have to play safe since you can't judge the real distance between you and the killer so medium/small loops and vaults are pretty unsafe if you are using them on reaction to the killer which good players do.
edit: just realized no duplicate perks are allowed that in itself makes this not accurate to actual good swf's abusing certain perks and even then there were better perks to use/builds that could have been used.

Not really?
Just because i say "Killer is easy" doesn't mean I think survivor is harder or vice versa. This game is incredibly easy to understand, and both sides are very easy to play, do I come across survivors that are better than me? Yes, does that mean the game is hard? No.

Competitive DBD
Enough said

It was very popular here in Japan a couple of years ago but there is still a decent amount of people playing it because Japanese comedians and others stream the game. When I checked the registration website it looked like anyone could join as long as they had a team and there were qualifiers before this event took place as well. From what I watched I didn't see some of the better/bigger streamers in the event and I am sure if they were some of these matches would have been over in minutes. There were a lot of questionable plays and I generally run into stronger survivors just doing random ques.

If that is to say the game is not mechanically demanding, the in theory I agree. But that isn't what you said.
It's like being Diamond in Overwatch and claiming the game is easy because you win more often than you lose. Mechanically aiming and shooting at someone isn't that difficult, but that has almost nothing to do with what would make the game difficult in the first place.
