The ban-timer is bugged, unfair, and really needs rework
Heres proof on video. Anyone ever experienced the same ?

Can't argue there, it should reset after a month or something. What if u have to DC because of a glitch?
I understand why its needed, it keeps folks in the game instead of them being sore losers and quitting. But still, i think the timer should reset after a while.

I got timer ban for basically nothing. Using the same internet connection as always. Doing nothing wrong. Even if "thats no a perma ban relax its just kind of minutes" thats not the point. It just show that we have a fragile game AI that cant make difference between a real DC and bugs from itself...

If the ban timer is bugged, report it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
The timer goes back down the longer you don't dc. There is no need to change it. Make sure it isn't your connection that is the problem. If you are using wifi, don't. Bugs that boot you from the game don't happen often enough to remove or lessen the punishment.

I cant even read how long your ban was

My friend has specs far above those required to play the game and consistently has his game crash in-game, in lobbies, in the store, when booting up; whenever.
He's also received a ban from the forums and subsequently cannot report any of these because of the no alternate accounts policy.
Which, when he's been kicked and/or had his game crash to the point of a 30 minute penalty, can be pretty annoying

My PC has specs that are above what is required and yet I have probably been booted once in the last year. I also play an unhealthy amount of this game, so I would think if getting booted was common, I'd have seen more of it happen to me.
I understand it can be annoying, but it is what it is. There is more benefit in having the DC penalty than there is without. I do wish that the devs would take six months off to optimize the game so everyone can have fun, but that will never happen.

I agree.
They need to figure out a way the game can recognize who manually opts to “Leave Match” vs game crashing on its own.
I know it’s probably not a very simple thing to look at but still, would be nice if there was a way to differentiate the two.

i mean these are the guys that introduce a ban system , nerf survivors more and at the same time say its too much work to specify the ban system as to whether your game crashed or bugged or u actually pressed leave game ..... which i find hard to believe but i dont kno how to program games so...
