What's a good survivor solo build?

I've been wanting to get into playing survivor but unfortunately I've been stuck at yellow ranks due to rank reset, desync and pip issues. My teammates haven't been the best most the time and I feel I have an overreliance on my team when I should really learn when to rely on myself. The build I used in my recent game was DS, OoO, Sole Survivor and Sprint Burst. It got me out but it made me play selfish, which I'm not proud of but it got me out alive, any recommendations for a better build?

The obligatory one is kindred, the other 3 are optional. I use dead hard, we're gonna live forever, iron will and kindred

I agree with @Nosferatu3145 about kindred

I use Bond... To see others while in range

Also empathy (or selfcare with a medkit) for some faster heals (if you think your teammates won't heal you)

Anyway start with kindred and work your build around that

Dead hard to extend chases and other things, Decisive strike to avoid getting tunneled, Kindred to get info on where your teammates are and to help them coordinate saves, and the last one depends on what you wanna run.

    You could try something like:

WGLF (it's mandatory in all of my builds for farming BPs and the increased heal speed can be great for reducing killer pressure too)

Spine Chill (Gives you advance warning when the killer is coming; it's insanely useful in solo queue)

An Aura Reading Perk (Kindred is the most common solo queue choice and I'd recommend you run it if you find yourself getting hooked earlier and more often than your teammates, but I prefer Aftercare for the persistent aura reading. Empathy, Bond, and Alert are all awesome choices too.)

Grab Bag (Either a second aura-reading perk that fills a different function than your first aura-reading perk (e.g. Windows of Opportunity), a strong all-rounder (e.g. Iron Will, Borrowed Time), an exhaustion perk (e.g. Dead Hard), or Open Handed if you're running Bond or Kindred)

My go to is Lithe/Quick and Quiet/Inner Strength, and Detectives Hunch. Sometimes if I want to be extra cheeky, I'll swap Detectives for Dance With me.

I think a good user friendly solo queue build is Kindred/Bond, Spine chill, BT and an exhaustion perk.

I prefer Bond over Kindred because I don’t run self care and it helps me find my teammates so I can heal or heal them. And it’s still good if you need to hook save, not as good when you need hook saving though.

BT is always great for hook saves.

If you want to be more of a team player you can run Prove Thyself, perhaps with Better Together.

If you want to go totem hunting you can use Detective’s Hunch and Inner Strength for healing.

Currently I run Aftercare, Desperate Measures, Empathy and Lithe and that’s a lot of fun.

    -Dead hard

    -Ds

    -Adrenaline

    -Iron will

I tend to run these perks most games but Iron will could be replaced with kindred, it depends on your playstyle really on what the best build is

    • Bond
    • Iron Will
    • Borrowed Time
    • Inner Strength

Depends on your playstyle I suppose but I have used the first 3 for years when I said screw exhaustion perks since then I've found them invaluable. Occasionally I swap Inner Strength for Kindred or Unbreakable but everytime I do I never have even a single chance to use Unbreakable and rarely get any use out of Kindred either and when I am hooked most times the others rarely do anything with the information that's useful, it's actually pretty amazing lol

Chances are your teammates will be running more selfish perks so bringing a few perks that can help the team can balance it out (we'll make it, BT, kindred etc)

WGLF is also good to have bc slugging destroys solos (also points)

And bring something nice for yourself like IW, IS, or an exhaustion perk. Or if you really want to get into the solo experience bring urban evasion, spine chill and self care and use them constantly
