Thanks for 60 fps Skill Checks
We sometime overlooked good things because we always focus on the bad. Chill and enjoy the game guys.

Because making things easier for Survivors across the board is the balanced change we needed...

Who cares if it makes hitting skillchecks a bit easier? It's a change that should have always been in the game

Skill checks are 100fps for me.

I'm glad skill checks got tweaked because on console after the new animation patch I had to pre hit my skill checks in order to hit them. Now I can actually aim for Greats and occasionally get them.

The bad currently heavily overshadows the good though, makes it hard to appreciate the good stuff. The skill checks are definitely one of the best changes to the UI though. They look smooth and clean. Honestly the look of the UI is really nice imo, it's the placement that's holding it back. Would look fantastic if it were all in the original positions.

Umm... What exactly do smooth skillchecks have to do with game balance?

It makes hitting the greats that much easier. Though, the situations where that matters is kind of silly (who even uses Lullaby or Overcharge trash perks lmao). I think it'd be a bigger deal if we had old Ruin.
But seriously, I love being able to hit greats much more consistently now.

i mean at least we don't have to try and pre guess when to press it, i think its good that they fixed it

Hmmm,i didn't even notice that.I never had a problem with them anyway

They were pre-rendered animations @ 30 Hz. Now they seem to be dynamic post rendered animations. So you get smoothness depending on your framerate. At 144Hz they look silky smooth.

Oh and also, I feel like match-making are a bit better. I rarely got players outside of my rank color nowadays.
