Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

BHVR: Remove Hook Struggle Phase.

I'd like to hear why the button-mashing keyboard destroying nightmare of the 2nd hook stage, AKA the struggle phase, is still in the game. What does any player gain from having to mash a bound button thousands of times to just... stay in the game?

If you have sub-par latency, or heck, even if you have a framerate drop, you'll lose the game even though you were diligently exercising your thumb or fingers. Why do we have to keep mashing a button to play the game?

Really. Give me a good reason. Why do we need to buttonmash in Struggle Phase? Is it because we're trying to stay true to our Mario Party roots?

There isn't a good reason. Remove the button mashing of Struggle on Hook phase period. It'll be easy to do, even for boneheads like the BHVR programmers.
