Another patch that broke the game
To anyone who wasn't lucky enough yet. In the new patch you get randomly disconected from your matches as survivor.
My fist game as killer had 2 random DCs (caused by this bug as those 100% weren't ragequits or anything) and in my 1 game to test if it's actually a bug as a survivor I get disconected after a minute into the match with warning of "no network connection".
Pretty good job amirite.
(just send me to bug repots before too many people flame another broken patch, sorry this is just sad)

yeah it's happening loads got into a game played a little bit and came up saying no network connection but could still see everyone moving on the screen and then loading into the game took 5 mins before saying someone disconnected (when nobody did) and lost a pip

Jesus christ, for once I was hoping for an actual fix.

I was DCed my first game and was banned. Now I can load my game and I am stuck on a menu screen with no menu items. 3 restarts I have my menu back.

This happened to a friend of mine, who’s on PC. Although, it happened before this patch.
Reading this though, I’m hoping it didn’t get worse. 😓

Really though, how do these things pass QA? I feel like they do bare minimum QA, and probably don't test every platform.. and with crossplay enabled, if something is broken on 1 console it probably breaks every platform
I'm on Xbox and got the 4.5.2 yesterday, and it took 5+ minutes to get past loading screen. Then the Survivors/Killer menu buttons were delayed by minutes. How is that acceptable to QA? Plus they have to get updates certified by Microsoft.. like how?

Do you get the DC penalty when you get booted out? Are there still issues with lobbies getting shut down? It's been painful enough to play survivor when you constantly get kicked out of lobbies, now getting kicked out of the game makes it even worse.
