This does seem like a very unique teaser though, kind of reminds me of the anniversary 4 that resembled PH‘s head..
in all other cases we either had short clips or maybe written tweets. Or do I miss something from previous teasers?

Could be any of the monsters really.
Well aside from the walking hive one, it doesn't have arms.
But i'd prefer the one who haunts Theta, he could have awesome cutscenes in the Rift about how he infected his fellow colleagues with the W.A.U.

Maybe that Robot head thing but I don't see them adding another monster monster unfortunately. Demogorgon was a rare one off I think.
They can't even animate the heads/jaws on Minotaur oni and Krampus trapper- so my expectations for anything that would require more work than normal is fairly low.

hum from the feng and camera picture i would say FNAF but i'm confused as i thought next chapter would be an original one and anniversary a licensed one.
I'm not entering the YES FNAF or BEURK FNAF comment but this "teaser" isn't the only clue :
- the Bunny for Legion : yes it's from the movie (probably also from the games ?) but it's still a freaking bunny costume in 4 differents colors like the 4 original animatronics while they could have easily just released a single pink bunny for Frank as it's the color of the one in the movie.
- the Élodie and Zarina onesies : an other possible clue as it looks like animal costume ?
But if it's FNAF i'm really trying to see what the power of the killer could be i mean other than teleporting trhought the 4 differents animatronics, maybe shut down the lights in a AoE attack and running fast to a location to jumpscare survivors ?
I guess will just have to wait next week for PTB.
But like PH teaser on 4th anniversary the biggest clue is probably hidden somewhere in plain sight and nobody is noticing it !

Okay, i know i said "monster" first, but in terms of Killer complexity in DbD, Akers (the monster's name) isn't too monstrous, he functions practically as any human being.
The least human things about him is the appearance and sounds, but he just walks and sprints, albeit not in a regular human manner.

Yeah maybe, but I don't think it's going to be licensed anyways.
I mean, they said they had no plans for new maps for a while till the reworks were done, and a soma chapter without a soma map seems unlikely.
I think it's just some weird technology based killer they designed themselves.

I'd be disappointed to not have a map with SOMA, but idk man, Ghost Face & Cannibal didn't get one either.
Anyway, now i started imagining the map: Instead of an indoor or outdoor map, it's an indoor AND outdoor map!
Indoors is a ruined underwater base, and outdoors is the ocean bed with the screen filter i mentioned earlier.
Technicalities like the map walls & stuff i haven't figured out yet, but i'm loving my thoughts right now. 😋

Turns out it's a strong dev/programming related killer.
"The Coder" has the powers over DBD Nerf perks that pose a threat, nerf yourself but get rewarded in the process (like a hex totem) or buff yourself and survivors while also get rewards for your risk
A killer that even the entity has to ZERO hold or control of.

Not all licenses would really come with new maps tho. Ghostface didnt come with a map, Bubba didnt come with a map either. Both are licensed.

Where does this "no new maps at all" thing come from, though? Because in the latest Q&A they said not to expect new variations of already existing maps, as far as I remember, because someone had asked about a new variant for the Swamp map. They never talked about a completely new map.
And what's more: in the previous Q&A (not the latest, but the one before it), when someone asked when we would be getting a new map instead of another graphics update, they said it would happen "soon". I remember one of the devs (possibly Almo, but could have been someone else) explicitly saying "soon". Of course it's a very vague term, but there's that.

The creator of FNAF himself stated that he wouldn't be doing any collabs this year so FNAF is off the list. It could be The Ring chapter considering there's a lot of focus on static and TV/Computer screens. Most likely original tho.

I just didn't find the games scary at all, gameplay was very basic, and it was pretty boring to me. The background lore sounds cool and thematically largely sounds good but its just not a fun game series to me.
This isn't intended to ######### on what other people like of course. Glad some people find enjoyment out of it. I just dont see it as anything special myself

Actually, Akers would be a pretty neat killer to add into the game. He would be the first blind killer to be added. Although I think it's a bit of a longshot to assume it's him.

If it's actually FNAF then we are going to have to get used to a lot of 'I told you so's.
I was highly skeptical about the next chapter being licensed just because of the anniversary that follows it and the potential licensed character it might bring. 2 in a row? We've seen that before but I doubt that we would see it again.
With that said though we've only seen this buildup before releasing new licensed chapters so it increases the chances that it is one. Or it could just be an original killer with a history using computers

Lol I remember seeing it and being like "lol that looks a lot like PH" but then I was like "nah I'm just delusional", I didn't want to believe because Silent Hill is my fav horror franchise and I didn't want to get disappointed if it turned out not to be him. LOL.
