With the rework of keys...
I hope that the Developers will give Survivors a set amount of Item add-ons, like Killers already have (2 Ultra Rare, 4 Very Rare, 5 Rare, 5 Uncommon and 4 Common).
Currently it's all over the place, some items have more add-ons than others, rarities of add-ons are all over the place, it's a nightmare.
So I hope with the mentioned Key rework and Key add-on rework they will adress this issue.
For example all items would now have 10 Add-ons (1 Ultra Rare, 2 Very Rare, 3 Rare, 2 Uncommon and 2 Common), I think it would be much better and more consistent this way!

This rework you speak of - will probably never happen based on how much else is broken plus the need to push out paid content.

I'd love some more consistency among items, an item overhaul to try and make some items more useful would also be nice seeing as maps and flashlights are kind of underwhelming.

Yeah it would be cool if flashlight addons other than battery/filament actually did anything.

item addons don't follow the same rules as killer addons, i believe it is 1 UR addon and from there it's whatever they feel like.
I don't see this as a problem tbh but i also wouldn't mind if they did an item addon pass.

And they have consistently refused to give even a ballpark ETA. I strongly suspect that Keys are being "worked on" by putting that work in the "Much later" basket.

If it isn't the next Chapter patch, it's going to be the next Mid-Chapter.
The Devs (normally) don't announce things unless they are somewhat close to being put out.

I hope the devs leave Keys alone. I am solo, I have no friends. I need those keys. Please ..... I'll give up anything else. Just leave keys alone.

How does that invalidate the fact that they said it was happening?

They'll most likely tag the rework on to an update without warning, not giving an ETA means that people aren't just going to use all their keys before they get changed, just like they did with moris.
