Should the next Freddy give the madness affect?
Here's my idea. Freddy is getting a nerf soon. His current form is kinda dull. And likely his dream world abilities are gonna get weakend. But in his third version will it be neat if survivors awake get the madness affect. It'd make sense if you don't get enough sleep you'll go mad. And movie wise that's what happens with Freddy the people have to stay awake but it breaks their mental health. So the first time you wake up you get madness 1. Then 2 and 3 and so forth. But if you're in the dream world enough sleeping enough you'll be able to put the madness affect back down. The madness would have the same doctor affects you see Fredd y illusions skill checks are harder. And maybe in tier 3 you have to be asleep for a while. But what do you think?

I really don't think that would be a good change, Madness is basically the Doctor's form of being asleep. Freddy having constant passive effects would probably make him even more boring to go against than he already is.

Madness is what makes doctor doctor just like the dream world makes Freddy Freddy so no

he really REALLY doesnt need it. That would be a huge buff to an already S tier killer

It wouldn't really make sense though, there would be no reason to bother waking up.

I'm not sure the devs have given killers similar abilities and effects.

Well they're obviously gonna give Freddy a nerf. And likely make his dream world weaker. So it'd be helpful to give him a better chance against survivors awake.
