Resident Evil could possibly be the next chapter
Resident Evil 25th Anniversary starts next month on march 22nd. Which is probably around the time the next chapter will be released.
Resident Evil have already been collaborating with other games. R6 are receiving elite skins from the franchise.
The image that everyone is referring to has a glitch vibe to it. And the devs posted the image of Feng next to camera.
All this could be related to Resident Evil Project Resistance. It was 4 v 1 game. And as killer you played the role Mastermind and controlled the camera to stop the survivors from escaping. So maybe the killer could be "The Mastermind" Below are the playable characters from that game.
This is just my interesting take on everything. On top of that all these characters could be added in as Legendary Skin

True, it was a really good game but sadly they didn't invest in it properly. I feel like the new one they are making will end the same. Capcom never was good at making online games 😅

Let's hope so, the Cote message that Dead by Daylight is the horror hall of fame, so I would be surprised if in the future they surprise us with any iconic character from slasher cinema or horror video games.

As much as i'd like RE in the game, but i hope its not this 'Mastermind' guy. If any killer should be in the game, it should be Nemesis, William, Mr X or Jack.
