Transfer Codes From in Game Purchases

I recently switched from Xbox One to Pc and I have DLC and game progress that would be nice to carry over. Currently, there is no way of doing so which is unfortunate. It would be ideal if there was a way to have an in-game code or sign in from the website that allows players to play on different platforms if they've already purchased the game to download off steam or to transfer your player profile over. Love the game and want to keep playing it, I just don't want to have to start over or re-purchase everything again.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

    Currently its not on the way. The devs talked about crossprogression, but it works only for pc/stadia/switch i think, no info for other consoles.

    I'm pretty sure it only works for stadia pc and switch. Which is stupid because most of the devs players come from PS4 and XBOX.

    Currently the cross progression is only between Stadia & Steam with Switch joining shortly.

    I don't think it would really be possible to do what the OP is suggesting because game purchases etc are platform specific.

    And we have no further word on whether cross progression will ever be added for any other platform other than those I mentioned above.

    Why not let people, via support, ask for a copy of their backend savefile?

    Provide your steam ID and ingame number and your Xbox one ingame number and ID, and copy the savefile towards requested platform (but it can only be done once though).

    @MandyTalk what about killer\survivor that was bought with shards? Will they be unlocked or will you have to buy them again with you switch to available platform (pc,switch and stadia)

    With cross progression @zombitehdeath anything you have on the one platform will be available on the other platform

    I mean they could at least let us have 3 original killers plus survivors items inventory. From whatever system you’re coming from.

    I kinda thought there was supposed to be some sort of synergy between Xbox and Windows 10, like any Xbox-playable game can also be played on any Windows 10 device (outside of Steam)? Or...they've at least talked about that being a goal at some point, I heard about it somewhere! Maybe it's only for certain games though...

    Thanks for all the responses, I play Rogue Company on Xbox and just downloaded it on PC and was able to transfer EVERYTHING over seamlessly. If DBD devs could model that system off Rogue Company's method it would be beautiful. As for now, starting fresh.
