When you should stop playing DbD and leave.

I often see posts from people stating they have hate for the game and the X recent changes. I'm not talking about people simply discussing things they don't like, either.

From my POV: How on earth are you still playing DbD if the game is such a bad thing in your life? It's not healthy to constantly indulge in something you hate so dearly.

There are other games, nobody is making you stay. Nobody is making you buy the Rifts and other cosmetics, grind for new perks instead of doing something fun (mess around in swf, even), and continue to torture yourself.

A message from me to everyone who hates DbD,

Please stop playing the game. This is not for anyone besides yourself. Find another hobby or game you like. Then, leave that behind if you find yourself hating it as well. Recreational time is valuable and there is no point wasting it.

Honestly DBD has gotten to me a couple to times and I hate it more than anything else. But I keep going for two reasons. I have nothing else to play. And I wouldn't want to play anything else.

People don't stop playing this game even if they hate it because it is literally a drug. You want to keep playing for the chance of having that one really good game as either side.

This is why I take long breaks from the game from time to time. If it's no longer fun, then I don't play it, end of story. It's not complicated.

Because games like DBD are designed to be addictive.

I was able to leave a long time ago when I was dealing with toxic swf when I was first starting out at low ranks, but as @Yords says, it's a drug to have to play Dead by Daylight, it's addictive even if I hate it, like I quit smoking weed and can't stop. And if I left, it would be pathetic to have to play TF2 again and your FK2 or Slender servers are dead. Currently I do not have any entertaining games and the rest like GTA V, PUBG, Gmod, etc. I have them uninstalled.
