Chapter 19 might still be licensed, new Leak MIGHT be a troll
I might be crazy, but normally when dead by daylight announces a non-licensed chapter, they tend to give us 1 or 2 clues and that's it about the chapter. They don't put as much effort into hyping a non-licensed compared to a licensed chapter.
When we get non licensed chapter's (for example, blight, oni, twins), they only left 1-2 clues for each chapter. Twins got the one teaser of a hand scratching the screen. Not much else. Blight, we got was a shadow on a wall transforming. Not much else. When oni was announced, We got a mask sucking blood, and a picture of a sword missing. Not much else.
When Dead by Daylight announce a licensed chapter, it's filled with multiple different clues, and they add more as each day goes. Like recently, another example is when pyramid head was announced. Look at how often they posted pictures and clues everyday, and they even had the central theme of ," Rate my Rig." People started thinking of Resident evil, FnAF for this recent chapter.
I think they are purposely leaking a non-licensed chapter leak, because they didn't have a clever way of announcing the new licensed chapter, without people immediately thinking of whatever franchise we theorize about, through process of elimination.
This is why when silent hill came out, the dev team threw in fake clues like adding Ripley's cat from alien into lockers, or referencing Jason and IT in the jane painting. With out misdirection, we would have guessed the chapter immediately.
Another example of misdirection they did, was ghost face's original trailer. They show a shopping market, and then reveal ghost face killing someone in a supermarket. How where we supposed to make the connection to Scream, when they are showing a supermarket.
Now I am aware that we got a few licensed chapter where it was straight to the point, for example, When we got leatherface, they were straight to the point because not many franchises that are popular, use a chainsaw as there main weapon. So they can't hype it as much. But in the more recent years, they tease small pieces at a time, to build hype for the chapter and they try to make you think, by throwing in fake clues.
All in all you get my point. Non licensed chapters are direct and to the point (except for the very few licensed ones in the earlier years), normally with 1 to 2 clues and that's it. When it's a licensed chapter, they go all out and create multiple different misdirected clues, amongst the real clues that relate to the licensed chapter.
Now with this information in mind, Five nights at Freddy's is coming out with a new game in march, and they announced there Final trailer for security breach, the same day Dead By Daylight changed the twitter account. If they announced a licensed chapter, people would immediately start thinking FNAF, especially with feng in the security monitor photo they showed the first time. Literally majority of the community thought, FNAF or Resident evil. Are you starting to see my point?
Now I might be wrong, but I seriously think that the non-licensed chapter leak is fake, and misdirecting. All the clues show a FNAF chapter is next, and I made a video to show some "Evidence" backing my theory up. Please take a watch and tell me what you think? I seriously think I am onto something, or I am just a crazy nut.

The only way I see this being licensed, if its a situation like Ghost Face where its half licensed and half not. Also they never hype up licensed chapters anymore, they did with Myers, Bubba, Freddy and Pig. The rest they just out right posted a trailer. Ash and Ghost Face were never meant to be revealed early. Pyramid Head was only shown the day of the 4th year livestream and we were announced a PTB the same day of the stream. The chances of this being even half licensed are very slim

UGH, what's with the FNAF fanatics and their obsession towards adding FNAF into DBD?
The teasers are blatantly music-inspired with highly saturated clothes/aesthetics. What screams FNAF for you?
Besides, DBD killers have always been chasers.
Myers. Freddy, Ghostface, Leatherface, Pyramid Head, Demogorgon, etc.
I don't recall any FNAF animatronics running around chasing little kids now do I?

@Kolossoniย You realize the animatronics are musicians in every FnAF game. THe new FNAF game, Security breach, the 4 main animatronics are rocks singers. The new game does not have you playing behind a monitor, you play as a little kid, with guess what, the animatronics running at you and chasing you.

All your points are Invalid. FNAF animatronics bear have ALWAYS been musicians, and yes you are right about being behind a monitor, for the EARLIER GAMES.
FnaF released there final trailer, the same day chapter 19 teaser came out. On top of that the gameplay has changed, and you play as a LITTLE KID, and get chased by the animatronics, you are not behind the security monitors.

The source code shows that you can buy the chapter with Iri shards so I doubt it's a licensed chapter.

I think the reason is the same with Jason not showing up is because Friday the 13th: The Game is literally DBD on another platform.

I am 100% sure this chapter is original. I just posted a stupid long ass post about the easiest way to prove it.
Long story short, they don't give licenses teasers anymore, and when they did they had copyright mentioning "other holders". The last original teaser was the Pig's. Since then, they don't get them.
The new teaser only has copyright pertaining to BHVR. If it was teasing something licensed, they would likely have to mention the "other holders" once again.
It's not licensed, and it's certainly not FNaF. Korea and the style of the pictures they've shown us have nothing to do with Five Nights at Freddy's, or Resi Evil.

A made up company tied to one or both the new characters, like Peak 22 for Dwight. The fact that the logo is literaly "M1" might be a cute coincidence or a not so subtle reference to DBD killers.

I'd like to argue that Jason is still possible in the future even with his own game (that's been discontinued by the way).
The difference between Jason and FNAF is Jason is one of the iconic slashers, whereas compared to FNAF, it's just a horror game with jumpscares. I don't mind either chapter coming into Dead by Daylight, but when you compare the two franchises, which one would you go for first? I know I'd definitely go for Jason, he would allow me to feel that the killer roster is complete.

Think its clearly going to be primarily focused on a gender neutral survivor hence the Blue and pink (male/female) colour scheme and neutral name. Killer could be litterally anything at this point as we have just the single persona. Expect a few twists, like we got with Blight and Twins. Might not even be a killer perhaps ๐ค

Actually leaks like that turned out to be false before. I think it was heavily suspected that both Blight and Twins chapter would be licensed because of the currency but the files later changed. So itโs not 100 percent confirmed.
that said, no way this chapter is licensed and even less chance for FNAF.
