Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

PC VERSE CONSOLE

I hate to make this post since I know there are many forums out there about this. I think we all know the advantages of pc compared to console and I won't waste anyone's time typing out info we already are aware of. I wanted to specifically chat about turning cross platforms off in the settings for xbox users like myself. There is actually an option to do so but it is greyed out, I'm not entirely sure to why this is. Does Pc have the availability to turn xbox players off? I was wondering if this could be an option since I'm getting a little sick of pc players being real sus. Yea I know people complain about hackers when they are just better in every way, but my last game I played as a killer, I down a Dwight literally 10 times and he popped right back up. To make it even worse, I have NO IDEA how you even do this, but his character literally attacked me. I mean his Dwight was literally giving me kicks to my body which yea was funny but still I literally couldn't defeat him. This isn't often but I'm sorry to say it but when pc players are involved there are hackers out there. Unless someone can tell me why this is a bad idea, I personally wish this was an option. If I'm wrong please let me know and why, otherwise the option should be there for more balanced gameplay if desired.

You have to be in the main menu to turn off cross play. Otherwise any where else it will be greyed out

Yeah, once you click survivor or killer the player can’t adjust the crossplay. Like Spirez said, just back out and you can then.

And yes there is hackers out there but it is so rare. I’ve been playing for almost 3 years and never had one. And turning off cross play will also lead to longer wait times but that’s your decision.
