Spine Chill Destroying Silent Killers

All killers have special power and silent killers usually hiding himself or stalk.

But spine chill making this imposible. Just one perk but it destroying Pig, Wraith, Ghostface and Myers. Those killers power countering by Spine Chill. SC need little nerf maybe?

Spine Chill is one of my favourite perks and I predominately play stealth killers with Michael and Deathslinger being two of my top picks. It’s pretty obvious to tell when somebody is using Spine Chill as they’ll conveniently vanish from generators as you get there. The best counter to this is to walk sideways towards the area you think they’re in and 9/10 you’ll catch them off guard.

Warning: Side effects include survivors that will be jump scared into DCing.

And this confirm, SC counter killer power. Other killers with SC or not still can use power but silent killers cant.

Yeah like Alert is completely ineffective against Wraiths stealth.

To nerf Spine Chill you'd need to nerf Wraiths ability to completely render Alert a wasted perk slot

If I suspect someone using spine chill I just walk backwards a little bit since it only activates when you directly look at the killer, it's helped me out a bit when I play killer, and it was the first perk I used as survivor when I joined this game

I usually play ghost face or demo and honestly spine chill, though annoying in the early stage of the trial, isn't that big of a deal later on. First of all their skill checks become harder so it 9/10 times gives you more intell. Secondly you, as the killer, can abuse this perk in disgusting proportions. You can just use the perk to scare survivors off gens... They, can't hear your terror radius so they'll 9/10 times assume you are close when the perk activates and they'll run, even if you are over 20 meters away. After 5 - 10 minutes into the trial they'll usually figure out you are using the perk in this way and will just ignore it after which it pretty much becomes a dead perk.

I feel like there shouldn't be any hard counters (or very strong counters, like in this case) whatsoever if the idea of the game includes it

    1. being a horror game
    2. having the idea of "play however you want"
    3. being a casual game
    4. not having a way to change your abilities in order to deal with the counter (ie in TF2, if your team has several Engineers and the enemy team has several Spies, you can switch your class to Pyro to counter them)

Perks are meant to be useful, I mean if all perks did was something vaguely useful in a completely abstract way to the current situation then nobody would bother using them:

Toast: You get a yummy piece of toast for later

Just Eaten Toast: Your tummy doesn't rumble at that socially inconvenient moment

Clean Finger Nails: Leave a good first impression

Clipped Coupon: You found an expired coupon for Ikea - (Maybe they'll honour it when you get out of this existential crisis)

Iron Will helps counter Spirit and Calm Spirit messes with Doctor, better nerf those too if we're following this logic.

I'm joking btw. Spine Chill, Iron Will and Calm Spirit are all fine. Well actually Iron Will needs a change where it doesn't completely negate survivor breathing sound effects (It does currently which is a bit unfair).
