A killer main's thoughts on survivor wait times
A lot of posts to the fourm read something like "killers, stop DCing if the survivors look like a SWF". I'm currently trying to learn nurse at rank 3, and if I see 4 flashlights or 4 toolboxes, or 4 legacy David's, I'm not playing that lobby because I want to have a good game to learn from. I know that at certain times during the day, survivor load times are up to 15 min. If I could switch my killer during the lobby to something like huntress that I know, I would not leave the lobby. Would reverting the chage that killers can't switch their killer be all that bad? Survivors can, and it can be annoying to see a baby meg switch to legacy David with a flashlight. This may solve lobby dodging for the most part.

I've never left a lobby. I play the one I get put in. I find potential SWF teams exciting in pre game lobby.

firstly 4 man flashlight lobbies are great for learning as you have less people on gens and more opportunities to slug
secondly the killer lock is for killer specific MMR coming soon hence why it’s there

This basically. I play doc almost exclusively so most other killers are pretty hard for me to use but I wanna level them up for their perks while also just trying out different killers. I can’t do that though when 3 gens pop in under cause I have no tracking or slowdown.

What's this rare breed known as a legacy david?

If I see a Key, I'll message the Survivor and ask them to remove it. If they say they have a challenge, I look up the Rift to verify.
If they don't, I either play super sweaty or just leave. Nothing wrong with leaving a lobby.

I play on xbox, and there is no pre game chat

Usually a survivor that likes to taunt killers and assert their dominance

I don't understand why anyone cares if the killer leaves the lobby after loading into a waiting lobby. The survivor wait times are before you even get pulled into the second waiting lobby. If the killer leaves the lobby after getting a good look at us and deciding he doesn't want to play against that particular group, another killer usually seems to quickly be assigned to that lobby.

Not often, but I'm still waiting on cross progression from Switch and so I do not have my main killers on my PC account- can't say I'm too comfortable with the first five killers or the Twins LMAO, so if I see a group that looks way above my pay grade, I let someone else handle the smoke for me. We can play each other after June once I have Doctor back LOL

Keeping cross play off increases queue times drastically for me

It does pretty much nothing for me.
Until Console becomes equal to PC, crossplay stays off.

You have to do it at the main screen before picking between killer and survivor
