Stop comparing trickster to huntress.
People keep saying why play trickster when huntress exist but he isn't meant to be huntress. He is much more similar to plague other than reloading his knives in a locker he has so much in common with plague. They both use their power to build up a meter than they down the survivor with a m1 and they both have to use their lesser version of the power to get into their better version of the power main event or corrupt purge. He also just plays a lot more like plague you don't go for super long shots like on huntress instead you try to do like plague and basically back rev your power like hillbillys chainsaw something you do with plague much more often as it gets them down faster and is easier to aim. So overall he just seems a lot like plague with some elements of huntress thrown in there.

I don't think it matters... If they'd rather use Huntress then trickster, then it fulfills their main point either way, even if they're not similar.

I don’t really agree. With Plague you can tickle the survivor with her power and leave, and that survivor WILL break and be injured a little bit later unless they cleanse. This new guy? Unless you land all 8 throws in a decently short period of time the survivors meter goes right back to nothing and you’ve wasted your time getting nothing done. He’s huntress that requires 8 throws to injure instead of 1.

Yeah like I said more like plague with huntress elements you reload at lockers and have to commit to a chase or injure someone quickly with accurate aim and go for someone else. How fast he shoots and how much ammo he has just makes him feel more like plague also you can't really go for long shots like huntress and have to be right behind someone or catch them in the open to down them like plague.

Well to reliably down yeah you aren’t gonna snipe but his throw range is VERY far from what people have already tested. You can throw at people form like 30+ meters away

Ok so you hit them from like 30 meters away now what? by the time you catch up to them the shot you hit isn't going to matter

You'll never change anyones minds. Huntress was the first ranged killer, so despite any and all differences she's the one that all others will forever get compared to.

I still think Huntress considering locker reload. They do better at pallets then windows. And both seem to struggle at the same loops. And both are 4.4 meters per second.

I mean....why not? They are very similar in everything except theme design.
If you took huntress's hatchets and divided them up into weaker, smaller hatchets you have this one. The attack functions a bit like plague sorta but I mean even plague at least moves at 4.6 m/s
I don't care who or what you compare him to- the fact is he is severely under powered. I have no idea what changes will happen to him before live, but whatever buffs they give him will probably not be enough, because bhvr hates making larger changes to characters outside of reworks.
