The Trickster isnt even a trickster?
the name makes no sense to me he doesn't even do any tricks besides throw knives???? lmfao. I still like the killer though.

He's called the Trickster because he does knife tricks.
Edit: and he does the twirly thing with his main weapon.

The definition of trickster isn't someone who does knife tricks, it's someone who cheats and deceives.
Additionally he only really just throws them....the only knife trick he really does is if you take an very rare addon to do it. I mean by that logic The huntress is a "trickster" because she does "Hatchet tricks".
It's not too far of a a stretch honestly, but trickster really makes you think of something different, I was excited when I first saw the name but then when I got onto the PTB and learned it was just a nerfed huntress with a cool design/audio I was a bit disappointed.

That makes sense. i guess I just kind of envision more of a joker like character who uses funny gadgets and stuff to literally trick the survivor

Something like that would have been more exciting to me in all honesty. It's just huntress if you took her hatchet and divided it up into several smaller but weaker hatchets. I don't see the point in it.
The character design beyond his power is all great, and I mean new content is still new content and this update doesn't seem to break the game too majorly other than the FPS drops I imagine that will be fixed before live. So it's still a win.

Same reason Ghost face is called "The ghost face" and not just "The ghost"

Yeah except for the fact the death slinger literally slings death. And ghostface is aptly named too because he is literally wearing a ghostface mask. What im saying is the trickster implies he tricks people when he really doesnt

The death sling doesn't sling death.... you can't "sling death" that's impossible it's not a material object
"The ghost face" sounds wrong and is just incorrect it should be "Ghost face" or "The ghost"
Names like "the Ghost Face" implies he has a ghost for a face and deathslinger implies he is slinging death which is impossible
