Make it so landing a successful M1 doesn't remove half your power bar. Make it so picking someone up in Frenzy doesn't remove your entire power bar. Maybe make it so a single instance of aim dressing or getting 360'd while in Frenzy eats like, half the bar instead of the whole thing. Maybe buff the recharge rate of Frenzy. 20 seconds to fully get it back when Frenzy can't down anyone seems very steep.

    1. Revert his Fatigue back to 3 seconds by default
    2. Increase his speed to 135% (5.4m)
    3. Rework Frank's Mixtape to instead deplete the DW timer for every chained stab.
    4. Rework Stab Wounds to reveal the aura of a mending survivor within 16m.
    5. Basic Attacks no longer deplete half the power gauge.
    6. Missing Frenzy now ends Frenzy without depleting the entire gauge
    7. Revert Frenzy's recovery back to 15 seconds instead of 20 OR have recovery begin during fatigue instead of after... or both.
    8. give Legion something in the 1v1 chase. Idc if he gets passive buffs for every survivor injured, give him a second ability, or what. He needs something to help in the 1v1, because right now, that's his weakness and his 1v4 doesn't compensate for it enough, imo.

    Reduce his fatigue.

Stop punishing his power when he M1s.

Do a complete pass on his add-ons.

The list for fixing Legion has basically been the same for months now. The same QoL fixes that would make them a solid mid tier Killer. Legion mains have given up on cool ideas to refine his core function and simply want some of his most punishing aspects softened. Nobody ever expects Legion to be good. Now we just want them to be average.

    In b4 new Legion nerf.

Also, Deep Wounds is still boring.

I've said this a for a long time now but make each consecutive frenzy hit do more damage.

    I.e

    • 1st Hit - Survivor has Full DW bar
    • 2nd Hit - Survivor has 2/3 bar
    • 3rd Hit - Survivor has 1/3 bar
    • 4th Hit - Instadown

Rewards Legion for getting all 4 hits without missing while making his power actually kind of scary.

    Realistically

    • Reduce Fatigue to 3 seconds
    • Hitting a survivor with a basic attack does not penalize Legion's power in any way whatsoever.

    What I'd like

    • Fatigue scales based on how many survivors you stabbed capping out at 3 seconds. For example - Feral Frenzy just being used for mobility and no stabs would stun for 1.5 seconds flat. For each consecutive stab it would add 0.5 seconds of fatigue time capping out at 3 seconds. That way it can be used for mobility and to pressure survivors.
    • For every survivor in the Deep Wounds state Legion passively gains 2.5% movement speed.
    • Each consecutive stab during a Feral Frenzy gives Legion a 5% movement speed increase until the duration ends. Stacks with passive so essentially 7.5% each stab then 5% for each stab after if you manage to stab someone again after they mend. This enables Legion to better utilize their power after survivors split up. In exchange for this I wouldn't be against reducing the range of Killer Instinct since the distance Legion could cover would be huge now.
    • Missing a stab with Feral Frenzy active reduces 80% of the remaining gauge instead of outright cancelling it. There's a penalty for missing but it's not as harsh as the current one. Essentially this gives you a split second to try to stab again but not too generous of a window if the survivor actually juked you pretty hard.

    Remove him from the game.

It certainly would buff the fun enjoyed in dead by daylight .

Otherwise I would make it sorta like Oni.

You don’t lose the entire feral frenzy bar when picking someone up out of frenzy.

Basic Attacks deplete 25% of the bar

Missing a feral frenzy stab depleted 50% of the bar.

Less fatigue and increase in speed per survivor stabbed to help chaining and bodyblocking

I would add a reward system for getting multiple frenzy hits like this

edit: clarification, all these effects trigger after feral frenzy ends.

For each hit in frenzy you gain a token. Tokens are consumed when frenzy ends.

    1. Nothing
    2. Reduced feral frenzy fatigue
    3. Reduced feral frenzy fatigue and all survivors affected by deep wounds are revealed by killer instinct for 5 seconds.
    4. When feral frenzy ends you go into a fatal frenzy, your movement speed is drastically reduced for 2 seconds before moving at 5.2 m/s it then lasts for 8 seconds during which your attacks injure and down survivors, hitting survivors in this state adds 4 seconds to it’s duration. Survivors affected by deep wounds in your terror radius are revealed by killer instinct during this time.

@CashelP14 huh ours are kinda similar but i feel that deep wounds just doesn't do anything to good survivors.

Number 3 could be an issue. KI is how Legion determines viable targets to stab during FF. Adding KI on bleeding targets could quickly become confusing.

Number 3 is putting KI on deep wound survivors after he ends frenzy for a few seconds, not sure how it can be confusing.

All these effects are triggered when you end frenzy.

I made a thread about this a little while ago, with basekit changes and a full addon pass!

    -Fatigue 1 second less

-Basic m1 doesn't reduce power bar

-While inflicted with Deep Wounds the survivors are Deafened

Not only makes them better but it also adds a higher skill ceiling and more depth to his play style.

    Pretty much this.

I think he should still be broken out of his FF for missing, but he doesn't need to lose to his power bar. He already can't immediately re-enter FF because he has to wait for his powerbar to be fully charged.

Live in an alternate reality where the devs are efficient and do a quater of the work other studios do with less people Then we may actually start getting somewhere.

We will be waiting for a loooong time before they touch legion.

Maybe add the new guy's Laceration mechanic to Frenzy, additionally to all those qol fixes.

If you dont want to spread out to hunt other survivors, needing to hit 3-4 timesto down in frenzy seems feasible.

Though i think healthy-> injured should still happen on the first hit.

For some reason I didn't actually get tagged in this. @ must not be working properly lol

Feral Frenzy doesn't do much currently but I feel like if you hit all 4 survivors then you should be rewarded with a down.

If your a good Legion then your power will result in at least 1 down and possibly more if the survivors mend too fast (revealing killer instinct). The reason I'm lowering DW with each hit is so survivors can't waste time performing other actions before mending at the last minute.

We have a similar idea of each hit should mean something lol we both also want to reward the Legion for chaining so many hits together.

It shouldn't be ultra rare though lol he's desperate for some sort of downing ability while using his power.

    In the easiest way:

    • Make the fatigue 3 seconds
    • Allow The Legion to start Feral Frenzy while above 25% power gauge

I'd rework them entirely. There's no numbers bump you can give them that will improve their incredibly bland and boring playstyle.

Players will still just split up and win.

3 second fatigue and remove his useless addons in favor of bringing back his speed add ons. Those were fun to use

  • SweetTerror
    SweetTerror Member Posts: 2,697

So many of these ideas are great. Playing as Legion is fun, but punishing to play. It seems like the two things that most players want the most is to reduce the fatigue stun and the brutally harsh penalty for missing an attack. These two QOL changes would make a world of difference.

    3 second Fatigue base

Less power gauge loss on M1

    Complete addon rework.

Change Legion into a hive mind where your all 4 or 5 characters at once moving as a killsquad

They seriously need to make his frenzy faster again. At this point it feels like his only power is temporary speedvaulting of pallets with the downsides of non-lethality and tremendous stun and cooldowns
