You know, it's weird.

The Trickster seems to be the hot new thing everyone's upset about despite probably being the aggressively least offensive thing BHVR's done the past few months. Excellent aesthetic, cool looking power, interesting story, needs some tweaks but that's literally why he's in the PTB-- to get some testing and feedback.

It's not The Twins again, fellas. It's going to be fine.

But no one's talking about all the other things that happened this patch that BHVR really does deserve some credit for-- the Blight's POV change, the Wraith's basekit Windstorm, Colorblind mode, the Decisive change, all these things we've been asking for for a while wrapped up in a pretty little bundle with a Trickster on top. Not saying they couldn't have gotten their damn hustle on and done it sooner, but it's here.

But nope, everyone's upset that Korean Vergil doesn't have enough blood or isn't wearing a mask to make him scary enough for the game, or the fact that they dared to call the man doing knife trick the Trickster.

And it's weird that this patch has all these good things everyone's wanted for so long, but this good behavior (heh) isn't being reinforced enough because everyone's too busy being moderately annoyed by the new killer.

Not even angry, just mildly irritated.

    I mean, I wrote an in-depth feedback thread about colorblind mode since it's something I've asked for since 2017, most of it positive, so you're not totally alone in this. And I've expressed happiness over Wraith and Blight as well in others' threads...we are out there.

    Well, this community really likes to focus on things they can complain about I guess.

    i agree, the content on this PTB/chapters seem pretty good, many stuff requested by the community (colorblind mode and DS change), but I haven’t really seen feedback on these

    I actually would have liked to try out Blight and Wraith on PTB if the lobby waiting times for killers were not so extremely long. Really wonder if Blights POV has any affect on the bumping

    It's becaus new content gets people way more hyped than modified existing content. Personally I love the Wraith and Blight changes, but... I mean, what can I say, The Trickster just steals the show.

    Wait... They also fixed Blight?

    About damn time, but it's worth the wait. Now the good Blight mains should be even better in the M1 department than they had to get!

    My main concern is that it will be another "it'll be here by launch" id rather them buff during ptb rather than leave it last minute or simply don't listen

    I know, but with how many people there are asking for health chapters, you'd think more people would care about these healthy changes.

    I don't get how no masks is a problem. We have Wraith, Hillbilly, Plague, Spirit, Freddy, Doctor, Blight, Twins and Oni (half-mask cosmetics).

    I hope they don't put the uncloak movement speed nerf in the final version of the patch, I think all Wraith needed was the buffed cloaked movement speed. Nonetheless I think BHVR did an excellent job on this update, this update and the Clown update are certainly the best days of our Wraith mains' lives.

    I agree I like the new killer, seems like one you might actually see (unlike blight and the twins) and one you won't feel instantly depressed when you do see them (like the twins)

    Default outfit is a bit garish even for me but there'll be some cheap recolours of it. He could use some more spikes on his dick as you say so I might put that in ptb feedback

    Blight and wraith changes are great, DS change is great, lack of a new map is sad just bc I would've liked to see a neon hellscape that no one else would enjoy

    But in general pretty content

    Yeah there are some great changes. I don't like the DS change but I don't even use the perk so I'm over it. If people complain about that perk even 25% less it will the best update in years.

    Other than that and the lack of map changes I'm very happy with the patch and looking for to it later this month. I may become a killer main for a bit thanks to the Trickster and Wraith changes.
