Fast vaulting back and forth
Have the devs still not addressed this bug? I just went against a sweaty all rank 1 swf and they were bouncing back and forth quick as hell at every vault point. Not fun at all. And using it is bs.

If they were spamming it then they probably were medium vaulting. Maybe they had a vault build? It does a lot more difference than one might think. Also it's already punished; 1: It's predictable as hell. 2: The vault is blocked for a long time after 3 uses.
That would only have them avoid a hit on very safe windows and even then, it's not abusing the window & more like wasting it.

They fast vault without having to gain momentum. Can stand at a window and bounce back and forth fast.

No it was fast vault trust me. And when ur running oni and u need a 1 hit down and earn it then dude fast vaults from sitting still....not ok

I have never seen that bug. Is it on the PTB or live version? Which map? Did it only happen while playing Oni?

Oh, I got you...I bet @Mistercookie is right that it was probably a medium vault then. And you gotta watch those two window loops, they are very strong if a survivor can vault well and watch their back.

It was in Ormond. And I see it rarely but yea as oni it hurts especially bad when you miss a demon strike

Can you confirm that it's a fast vault? There are three vaults in this game. Slow, medium and fast. Did they do back to back fast vaults on the same window without moving away from the window?

For reference vast vaulting would be the survivor jumping above the window with one arm.
Medium vaulting can be quick with a vault build but it has the survivor climbing with their knees bent.
The prerequisites for a fast vault are quite precise so I'm pretty sure such a bug would be reported a lot..

I searched for "Dead by Daylight Fast Vault Bug" and nothing came up from the last two years except tutorials and similar. Do you have a link?

Wow thats interesting I cant find anything on it anymore either. Used to see popular YouTubers showing it but I can't anymore. Well hopefully its fixed and it was a medium vault
