Spirit players that aren’t toxic and try to play fair. We get way too much verbal abuse.

I guess I'd have to say I respect any killer that is not hacking?
Unless you mean the Survivor Rulebook or one of the infinitely changing notions of 'fair play...'
In that case, I say gg every game, regardless of whether someone does something I don't like - I don't ever have any sense of entitlement or expectation as to how a game with 4 other humans will play out.
Probably silly of me, I know.

Anyone who can play a fun, fair game and not be toxic about it. even if they kill us all as long as they played the game normally I'll respect it. extra props to killers who jump scare me

I start off with a baseline level of respect for all involved, unless you play like a toxic shithead, I keep that respect for you at the end as well, win or lose.

Honestly just like everyone else a killer who doesn't tunnel/face camp everyone and actually is strategic with a gameplan. Much respect to those who helps some survivors after a hard match for them too

Any Killer that doesn't tunnel or camp and plays fair. And those that don't dc when they lost the game.
Much respect to the killers that pay attention about the survivors and their behaviour and that do not reward selfish playstyles, unhooking when chased, constantly bringing the killer to other survivors (which lets assume they have bond or empathy and are doing that on purpose) and sandbagging.
U all are great humans and respectable ^^

A trapper that wins without basement is particularly impressive.
A 4k with that new killer against any actual decent survivors on PTB is incredibly amazing, that killer sucks. He's worse than every killer in the game imo.
Clowns that can effectively and perfectly utilize both bottle types in a loop to shut it down faster. It usually only shaves a second or so off, but is clutch, so it's impressive when they can do it.
Blight's that have a built in GPS system in their brains and somehow know how to cut you off at every area of the map.....
Literally any demogorgon player that can play clean and win....

I respect any killer except Nurse. She quite simply shouldn't exist. Singleplayer design in a multiplayer game.

Anybody who doesn't give up and just does the best they can. I don't care what killer or tactic they use.

If they play this game and have been initiated into the community's hive mind, they probably don't deserve any respect. Don't care if you're survivor or killer.

It's really simple for me.
No matter what killer you play you have my respect at the start of the match. How you play static tiles and the common loops (all the jungle gyms / tl's) is a quick giveaway to skill level.
If the killer runs these tiles perfectly then I need to start adjusting to unique pathing and sidestepping when out of LoS.
You have my full respect at this stage no matter the killer.
It all goes out of the window when you try to tunnel when it's completely not necessary and start camping/proxying the hook even when there are no survivors pressuring the hook. If you camp/tunnel at endgame then you still have my respect. There really isn't any other play.

Usually if I'm killer and someone dc's early I'll hook the others 2x maybe kill one depending on if one is irritating. And let the others finish and escape. I usually just pretend to be playing badly.

She is SOOOOOO punishing to use though. I have to respect good nurses because they have spent so much time being humiliated while learning her. I have 20 or so hrs on her and struggle for a draw every time I use her.

Killers i deem worthy of respect are like huntress, trapper, and blight tbh. Nurse too but less so just cause shes super strong but well balanced imo.

Billy. Billy can be oppressive as ######### and keep you on your toes or a chain-saw revving potato that can be looped for ages around 1 loop. You never know what's going to be, even at Rank 1 but at the same time, he's still one of my favorite killers to play as also. Fantastic movement speed, the ability to kill quickly if need be and the fear of a 1-shot to make some lower skilled players run into something while in-chase. He's a madman, I tell ya! In all seriousness, he's honestly one of my faves and always will be. Too bad the nerf to his chainsaw made him almost never picked :( He was the one fun killer to go against. If you both was good, it was a damn even match and very fun. If he sucked, looooord XD

My list for what killers are worthy of my (and therefore, any) respect:
•Killers who don't chase me when they see me get unhooked, you shouldn't even look at me
•Killers who don't leave me on the ground for more than 3 seconds (if you lose sight if me or chase someone else when you just downed me, you're a trash killer and you suck)
•Killers who play fun killers in a fun way, like a legion who keeps using his power to hit me (hecka scary, but you have to let me mend, don't be cheap)
•Killers who don't pick OP killers, like Hillbilly or Ghost face
•Killers who don't use OP perks, like coup de grace or insidious
•Killers who leave the hook immediately if they hook me, even if they see others around (don't even look at me, dork)
•Killers who are friendly and wear silly clothing 😜 you're amazing.
•Killers who go AFK and let me and the homies farm (you go, girl)
•Killers who let me loop them the right way then let me hit them with a pallet.
•Killers who learn there lesson when I hit them with DS (Back up, bro. Yeah, that's right...)
•Killers who don't get sweaty and aren't so worried about the kills, they just want to hang out and have fun, maybe get a couple hooks of the moods right. Consensual, of course.
•Killers who know when to back away from the gen were working hard on!
•Killers who come to the opened exit gate and take their teabags and flashlight clicks like a man (you lost, own up to it, loser)
•Killers who open the gates for me and my homies (you go, girl)

Any killer who tunnels a survivor after witnessing them intentionally sabotaging their teammates. Don't get me wrong. You have every right to play selfish as a survivor, but I truly love watching a killer make someone playing that way pay for it.

Killers who realized there's a teammate being a scumbag and throwing the game for his own points or something and actively targets that person. I do it whenever I kill and I respect whoever does the same.

People who use non-meta perks and memey builds. Even if they dont 4k, I still respect that they are willing to try something new

Killers need to tunnel/slug/camp against a very good survivor team to have a fair chance at a 4k. If the survivors don't make it easy for the killer, then neither should the killer, so the killer using this strategy is fine depending on the context.
Now if it's a Nurse/Spirit, there's 5 gens left and 3 survivors, and they're tunneling, then yeah, they're just being a dick for no reason and i don't respect it

Stalking survivor takes actual skill, thus the one shot feels earned. Which I can't say for other killers.
