Is anyone else having the problem where you die on the second phase because it stops registering your struggle? Because it keeps happening to me and it's a struggle bus

Are you mashing too quickly or playing at the wrong resolution?
Both of those can cause the game to ignore inputs and kill you. If you aren't already don't press space quickly, just tap it a few times per second.

I've been hitting it at a rather rythmatic pattern. So maybe it's my resolution
