Judith's Tombstone
Is so rude. I wait nearly 10 minutes to find a lobby and I get taken out of the match in 3. Very balanced.
Any tips to counter-play? If Myers is bent on getting you out of the match, he will.

Don't feed him.
Literally anytime I play or face Myers with red mori addons, I see 2-3 gens pop before he reaches the state where he has to come in tap range from a survivor.
Sometimes I see Myers pop T3 on 5 gens left, but that's usually because there's that one overconfident survivor who thinks that there's no problem in giving killer T3 or a good portion of stalking progress in first 30 seconds of the game. Maybe that's your case?

You just have to hope that your teammates aren't idiots.
As for counter play, you can always improve your looping skills.
My biggest piece of advice though is to just put those type of matches behind you.

The only counterplay I know of it is the typical "avoid feeding him stalk" advice, so that you can get 3-4 gens done before he gets his power and once he gets it, enter a locker when he's too close for you to vault a window or drop a pallet. That way he'll either slug you or have to hook you.
If it's not infinite, you can play super safe and probably he'll not get much out of it. But usually it is, so you have to keep extra awareness not to be bad positioned.
I've had a match everyone was locker diving because of that and at least one escaped in the end (I was moried in the door of the locker, unfortunately).
I'm looking forward for more tips too if anyone has them.

That's right! I forgot lockers were his weakness with that add-on.
I did the first gen and the team managed to get nearly 2 more gens done before I got caught. I was trying to break line of sight and run around everything but there wasn't a locker near me when he T3 off of me.

So you couldn't reach a locker in how many seconds? There's not a single map where you're unable to reach locker after dropping pallet on killer, that's how many lockers are there.

I just didn't happen to be near one before I got caught.

Judith's tombstone is very easy to counter, the purple tombstone piece is the harder one.
So, the obvious tell is that Michael's stance is different if he's using JT (his has a visible mori hand, go to check wiki on JT for more), first main thing is to understand how the addon works. He needs to full stalk all 3 survivors (if used with the turf of hair which is always) so you gotta break LOS as much as possible, denying any stalk. Meanwhile, rush gens like crazy as he's not pressuring at all, you're free to do gens really fast. Always assume Michael has some TS if it takes him long time to reach EW 3 and better use the other counters I'l list if you assume he might have the purple TS, it's better to be safe than moried.
Secondly, notice who is the obsession as they are the key for really easy win. Pre-throw pallets before he gets pallet stunned if he's using Nemesis to deny him PWYF stacks. If obsession, just try to avoid him as much as possible so you don't feed him mobility.
Thirdly, once he actually does reach T3 and you still have gens left, you need to abuse the trigger condition for the mori. He needs to be littlerally so close to breath on your neck to mori you. He can't mori you if you are on uneven ground (stairs), in animation (holding M1 on a gen) or the most important one A LOCKER . Always check where is the closest locker to your position and if he attempts to mori you, just run to it and hop inside if he it means getting downed early, you can try to loop a little before entering a locker but it's risky as if you fail, you die.
If you do all that, you should have really good odds to win even versus very fast tombstones. The main problem as with everything is your teammtes need to do it all as well and tombstone is rare is it's natural that nobody knows how to play againt it. At that point if your teammates don't know what to do, it's matchmaking issue as you need good teammates to win vs any strong killer and TS myers is the same.
Hope this helps.

If a Myers got his tombstone and (presumbtably) infinite tier 3 in three minutes your whole team including you did something very wrong

Played against one a couple of nights ago. Not seen it before. Not familar with his addons although Im aware of the one which takes him ages to get tier 3 infinite. We rushed through 4 gens and then he started mori'ng 1 at a time. Quite a good late game strat. I managed to waste enough to time to help the other 2 get the last gen finshed and 1 delayed him whist they did the exit to help the other escape, but ..... the doors opened too slowly and he got the last survivor in the doorway.

So just to get this right. You complain about 10 minute survivor queues and want to nerf a killer addon that usually costs the killer the match, because it requires so much.
Have you thought about asking for killer buffs instead?

I thought survivors liked waiting 10 mins for a lobby just to be out in 3 minutes? Thats why I’m getting swf lobbies that bring 4 toolboxes and split across gens

Judith's Tombstone isn't even that good. If he used Fragrant Tuft of Hair as well it was totally on you and your team who fed him and punish this combo by rushing gens since he doesn't hit or hook.
Tombstone Piece in my opinion is far worse especially combined with J. Myers Memorial. With that combo he can get to Tier 3 pretty fast and still kill someone and he also doesn't get slowed down.
I die more often to Tombstone Piece than Judith's Tombstone because Jud. Tombstone is very predictable.

Those are the games I love on both sides. Constantly shifting momentum!

Judith's Tombstone slows down Myers a hefty amount. In the absolute WORST case scenario where you can't outrun him, jump into a locker. Also, according to the wiki, Myers's free hand is opened up and not clenched into a fist during Evil Within Tiers 2/3 if he's using Tombstone, so you'll always have a tell-tale sign that he's using that add-on.

Ah yes, the classic insta-kill healthy and non-hooked survivor combo that is still in the game. Genrushing and not letting him stalk or get hooks is good, but most likely won't work forever depending on you and the 3 other survivors. So the faster you can get out and deny him the tier-up the better. What you also have to consider is their build, because any experienced Michael using Judith or Judith/tuft will also use build around those add-ons and will use something like PTYF to allow them to negate most of the slowdown drawbacks of Judith's. They also will use gen stalling perks like Dying light/Ruin. If you expect him to be hindered by the add-on, toss that notion out because there are ways to effectively work around the disadvantages. If you can't finish the game quickly, then it's only a matter of time before that Mikey-boi eats through your whole team.

Yeah its an exciting scenario to play against for sure. Last man standing situation to a degree.

you can jump into a locker to prevent him killing you

I never said I wanted it nerfed.

I don't like super fast matches myself..

You had the best, most informative, and least judgemental response. Not sure why everyone likes to shame and blame the person or think that you want something nerfed when looking for counter-play. The only thing I really forgot about was using lockers because I rarely play against the tombstone add-on. Thank you!

There are lots of counter to this Add-on. Hell, I'm a Myers main and I won't use it because it is TERRIBLE for the Killer. The only time it gets taken is for a Rift or if you want to put yourself through a really, ridiculously hard challenge. Outside of the Potato Ranks, making it work really takes 300% effort because nobody in their right mind feeds you, and they can loop you to hell and back.
The first thing you need to do is go read up on the Add-on so you know how it works. The Killer is going to be even SLOWER than normal. It is not compatible with either the Scratch Mirror or the Vanity Mirror, so the Killer will have minimal or no wall hacks. It is often paired with the Fragrant Tuft of Hair which means infinite Mori time, but getting there is even HARDER. It is a mixed bag really. Most people taking Judith's Tombstone are giving up 3+ Generators before they can actually use it. Next, practice your looping. Keep your head on a swivel. This Myers is pretty much going to HAVE to take Play With Your Food. That means whomever the Obsession is should just hide all game. :) Stay away from Myers and don't feed him pips. Learn how to jump into lockers. This also denies the Mori. The best he can do is hook you. Remember that to do his Mori on the run he has to be really close to you, much closer than a standard attack. It doesn't work with a Lunge. Looping is your best defense.
