Why unhooked survivors in injured state don't go down?
Every now and then i will hit a unhooked survivor during injured state but they don't go down.. a white aura appears and they get another chance..
Why does it happens?
How to know that will happen in advance?
Thanks.

Borrowed Time it seems.
Basically, when a survivor unhooks another survivor in the killers terror radius, the unhooked survivor gains the endurance status effect for 15 seconds. If they're hit during these 15 seconds then they get the deep wound status effect but stay up.

Yeah anyone would advice hit the one unhooking first, if your waiting to hit the one getting unhooked then the consequence of that could be borrowed time activating and then screw you out of a hook for awhile. Always hit the one unhooking, but chances are they are going to try protect the one they are unhooking to stop you from tunneling them, so you got another hook right there if you catch them.

Thanks, that explains it.

Thanks for the tip.

You might know this now that you've gotten the explanation, but just in case I wanted to clarify that this is a perk and not a base-game effect that will just trigger when the conditions are right. There's no way to know someone has it until after it's used against you, but you can sometimes infer it based on how bold the save was and how aggressive the unhooked survivor is playing.

I advise looking and reading the survivor perks descriptions at the end of a match.

Always read your opponent’s perks and add-ons at the end of the game, especially when you encounter mechanics you don’t know!
As explained by other users, that was Borrowed Time. You need to know it only activates based on Terror Radius; meaning that, if for whatever reason you don’t have a Terror Radius (cloaked Wraith is an example), that won’t activate.

Also if you're in the dream state

This one was tricky for me, as the survivor that had that effect didn't had a consistent perk for it.. now I realize that the perk is on the one that saves not on the one that's hit..
Thanks..
