Why am I getting punished?
How is this fair? I'm punished because the killer is literally running off a baghdad battery connection? His router is nothing but a hamster on a wheel covered in crisco oil chasing a block of cheese around and I'm punished?
Every hit was like this but when I'm killer my hits don't do this bs! Every pig plays the same scummy way tunneling person with a trap and/or having router covered in crisco. Since the last update no matches have been fun just sweat, cheating and unfair bs.
Should be allowed to dc against this bull.

Router is literally a clay pot filled with dunkin donuts and crisco and a hamster running around in a wheel.

That’s wild holy crap, killer was on Mars

Thanks for video evidence proving my point in many posts about how busted ass this game is, and they've said they're done with hit validation. I beg to differ.

Similar stuff happened to me tonight after tossing a pallet. I had to play the tape over and over because it was just so unbelievable that it's 2021 and this game is still suffering from the same issues it's had since the beginning. Had to put it down for the night and take my mind off it with some Diablo. Hopefully, your next match is better.

hit detection is working perfectly smile

No, you die on hook and play the next match.
Really though, why didn't you learn after the 1st hit and throw the shack pallet early?

I did it on purpose to see if it was just a fluke duh 🙄

We need a ping limit. I doubt anyone playing without a vpn would ever reach red ping and if they do the number would be so small that it doesn't matter.
They won't do this though thanks again to swf who ruin everything. It feels so good having 20 ping as a killer only to have grabs and shots ruined by some guy at 500 ping messing the server up.

The game REWARDS players with high latency... Shouldn't it be the other way around?
The SOLUTION is simple...
Just drop the pallets BEFORE getting into a chase.

I dropped a pallet when Billy started charging his chainsaw. The Chainsaw went through the pallet, and downed me. Billy was stuck on the other side, and had to break the pallet. If it were Lopro chains, the pallet would've been broken and I'd have only been injured. I wanted to SCREAM.

There are map with less than 8 pallet. Your solution isn't really applicable in those case. You would empty the map in no time doing that. Then you lose automatically.

That's kind of a ######### thing to say about a lag. Like "Oh. The lag is making it easier for the killer so just lay down and take it or waste the god pallet on something that may or may not happen depending on timing" Stop being a troll over a legit problem

Take a step back and watch the video. It's clear they intended to throw the god pallet and stun the killer. Even before the killer entered the shack. No attempt was made to loop or mind game it.

I retract my God pallet statement. My apologies.

That's is called a well coded hit server validation with great dedicated servers, you know, the things they have promised 2 years ago =)

What is a battery connection?

The solution to this is to have the servers automatically end matches with killers who end up getting weird, weird hits. They can detect if they aren't getting updates at a fast enough rate, and if the input is happening at such a choppy or plain inconsistent way (which is pretty easy to detect as a computer), the match is clearly going to be unfair and you should probably end it at that point, without any penalty. This is what most other internet services do. If they don't receive a timely response, they time out and go do something else.
To be fair, hit validation is still a valid strategy to prevent crap like this. It's just that it's still in its early stages, and isn't always active. The mechanisms for hit validation only activate when all conditions are met, and sometimes lagging clients manage to slip past. Plus, we don't actually know the success rate of hit validation because when it works, you don't know. Only when it fails do you notice.

I see Almo's point now, Pig really is A Tier. Look at the way you can counter shack pallet with her!

Damn dude, at least feed the poor hamster

He's got a router covered in crisco hooked up to a baghdad battery, a dunkin donuts tower and a hamster on a wheel chasing a block of cheese. If you don't know what a baghdad battery is you can research, it exists.

Yea! I was joking...

just wanna point out that you THINK your hits don't do this bullshit.
they might be ######### too...
0 -
No because the pallet is dropped on me and I don't get the hit so no they don't
0 -
so you never got a hit while being hit by a pallet? ever?
0 -
I did but it wasn't laggy and I have never had any complaints. This is clearly the killer problem not me my matches as killer are smooth.
0 -
wasn't laggy on your end.
either way... I'm just saying you can't know for sure you never lagged that way for someone else.
2 -
Yes I can because my Internet is pristine and nobody has ever complained. Are you sure you're not the baghdad battery pig?
The only killer I have trouble against is pig and that's because every pig I face will just tunnel the one person trying to get a trap off them or have a baghdad battery connection.

sure thing mate.

I dont get it.. this is quite normal in dead by daylight.
It's just how things are. It's been this way ever since I started dbd.
