Question for Leatherface players
Just had a Leatherface that was able to use his chainsaw without revving it. Is that possible with Long Guide Bar add on that "slightly increases the amount if revving available before triggering tantrum"? Other add on was Rusted Chain.

The revving audio is bugged rn so you cant hear it

No, that just let's you rev longer before you tantrum and you would still see him rev. What you describe sounds like an insta-saw and that's not possible. I wonder if it's a bug where you don't see him rev on your screen even though he was?

Yup, you only hear the chainsaw once he starts consuming charges to sprint

I had a match right before with a Leatherface and there was no sound issues. This was within seconds he hit me with his chainsaw, it was like he had chainsaw as M1. I've never seen a Leatherface have a chainsaw ready THAT quickly.

I've played against a few bubbas today and none of them had their audio revving queue.
Maybe your thinking of the saw start up audio queue that happens the moment he consumes his first charge and he starts sprinting and your just confusing it with quick charge up

It was within seconds of Leatherface seeing me and him hitting me that he hit me with the chainsaw. When he saw me his chainsaw was lowered.

It's not being dramatic, I'm confirming that Leatherface within seconds of seeing me should be able to rev and use the chainsaw. I've never seen a Leatherface go from chainsaw held down to revved and used that quickly in any match after thousands of hours. If it only takes couple seconds for a Leatherface to use their chainsaw that's good to know from a survivor perspective and makes me wonder why more don't do that.

Leatherface still has charge add-ons so maybe he was using that. Or it's yet another server-related bug or a hacker. We won't know unless you have a video of it happening.
