The struggle mechanic has been in the game for 4 years now
And absolutely nobody likes it. 4 years and after all this time hearing 100 different engaging suggestions none of those have even been considered? I honestly thought it would come with this new killer, do I have to wait until next year for this change?

There isn't going to be any change, or at least, one hasn't been announced.
That being said, I think it should be buffed, if not to the base kit, to a perk. Maybe have breakout add x% of struggle to the bar if they take a protection hit.

The only thing I would liked changed about it is the random misshap. Once in awhile I'm mashing my spacebar and somehow the game thinks I'm not struggling at all then I get sacrificed.

Just implement skill checks like Pyramid Heads cages. Boom, fixed. I don't know why the devs are so scared to change aspects of the core game. Is the code so bad that if they implement new functionality that it will cause the servers to explode?

I think it is that bad. I've read some horror stories about how this game was developed.

i dont think its that bad but if they changed it to a hold mechanic i'd be fine. i'm against the skillchecks like phead cage tho.
