Possible d-strike recommendation?
So, the new decisive nerf makes me think that now tunnelers are gonna tunnel people even more. Maybe not in the way that you would traditionally get tunnelled, but I feel that now they will just wait until the survivor thinks they can start working on something and go straight to them right away. Some people might disagree, and that's fine. However, I feel that I could maybe share a new idea for the perk, that could be anti-tunnelling, in the right way.
"Once unhooked, decisive strike activates for 30 seconds. If a killer begins a chase within the time, the timer stops, until the chase is broken. The perk deactivates once you hit, or miss the skill check."
If you guys have any opinions or thoughts, I'm all ears to hearing your thoughts. See you guys in the fog. Yes I'm cringe. Deal with it lol.

I think a change was needed but this one is way over done. if it just deactivated when you work on a gen it would have been enough to start from and assess from there. deactivate on unhooks is so dumb in my opinion.

It's to prevent people who abuse DS to force a hook grab

And helps avoid endgame DS plays where one will unhook and both get out the gate with no repercussions for an unsafe unhook.

The reason I came up with this solution, is because it's useful if you're being tunneled, it stops the tunneler from wasting their game, and unless you get yourself in a chase, you can't abuse it much. I honestly believe this is the way to go, and it should be good for both sides.

but it can still be forced. you can still force locker grabs. I've never seen a forced totem grab (though technically possible I guess) and its not possible to force a heal grab

The nerf is fine

True but going inside a locker isnt productive. It only means you went after someone who just got off the hook and not doing anything productive. Forcing hook grabs would massively hurt killer's momentum.

Decisive is fine.
It's only going to hit people who tunnel and I'm not sorry that you can't use it offensively anymore.
