Facing people of higher rank

Im green rank 10 and bounce between 9 and 10 a lot because I usually face nothing but rank 1s with hundreds of more hours than me. Needless to say not fun games. Especially when Im trying out a new killer with one perk on him. If the game is gonna make me face these people at least give me more bloodpoints that way I can at least speed lvl my new killers to have a somewhat fighting chance. I also think its a little BS that I cant swap killers when I see a lobby full of survivors all prestige 3 and Im stuck on my lvl 4 Deathslinger I just bought. If that happens I already know Im in for a bad time just on perk pool alone.

If you feel that way dodge the lobby. If I don't think I'm gonna have a fun game because of keys or 4 toolboxes I do it

I feel you. But unfortunately, I feel that both as killer and as survivor. I'm rank 8 now, but I rarely get killer lower than rank 2. Usually is just rank 1 and 2 everytime.

When I play killer it's about the same. 2-3 red ranks and the other(s) purple, while I'm a rank 11. When I'm lucky I get my own rank, but that's hard. That's why I don't usually do dailies for killers I haven't leveled up anymore. Too much trouble.

Its rare for me to see P3 clothes nowadays. Typically the ones I do see are fairly bad.

I think one mistake is to run a killer before you've gotten them to Level 30+. Use your existing killer to farm BP and drop $1m+ on the character you want to play. This will give you a number of new perks and addons that you can use while learning. Much better than starting from Level 1 which is just crazy.

Yeah, never play a killer until you have all four perk slots and at least four decent perks for them. This could be level 15 or level 40 depending on your luck with the bloodweb, but definitely not level 4.

Since killer based MMR is turned off, allegedly, then they should let us switch killers mid-lobby again.

Unfortunately for you(i was in the same position once)if you dont have ruin tinkerer pop and bamboozle and the other best killer perks lvl 3 you cant win against purple/red rank survivors except if youre a pro killer. To have all the perks you need lvl 3 on a killer takes ALOOOOOOOOT of time it’s incredibly time consuming, its one of the many bad things this game needs to change. If youre a new player level up hag-billy-clown first to have ruin pop bamboozle tinkerer,im a red rank and i use 95% of the time this build on my main killer billy.
