What makes kill rates so high

Because most killers and survivors are terrible. PH is a beast in good hands, believe it or not. Gunslinger aswell. Against random soloQ/duoQ it's 3 to 4k every game.

That's 1 exemple. But you can check Skyteuur on Twitch, he is a great PH player... 4k every game. Even sometimes he stops moving between chases to read the chat lol... and still gets 4k.

And it's well known that PH is OP... Everyone complained at release, then they tweaked it and most have said it's even worst.

Got sources on these claims that most people think he is worse now and op? I havent seen it on here at all nor in game playing either side. I've seen only a couple people say it (infact I've seen more people argue Myers, Bubba, and Twins are op than PH being OP which is hilarious to me)

The arguement that a killer is op in the right hands is not a good arguement, especially when referring to a YouTuber since those are generally among the best players and you could also say any killer is insane in the right hands. You can find killers mains for all killers and it look like a killer is OP since they do so well with that particular killer but that doesn't mean they are actually OP. The same thing happens in tons of games (especially fighters). Just because some people can do well with a person/weapon/perk/etc in a game doesn't mean it's overpowered.

After nerf, spamming punishment is the way to go and when you spam it, survivors can't do anything and can't survive more than 20 sec.

Yup, talking about kill rate this way can explain why you can't rely on them BUT those numbers show something is wrong.

In a fair trial where there is no suicide, no tunnel and no camp (at least early game), maybe it is balanced, you got this.

But those numbers show there is something wrong, and that it's so wrong that the kill rate is really high, way too high.

Whatever this is : OP killer, camping/tunneling, too many suicides/DC etc...

It proves one thing for sure : the survivor experience is crap.

You see a lot of noob PH getting stomped. Hard to play doesn't mean balanced.

The Nurse is OP in good hands and she is really really hard to play. PH is not as effective as the nurse but he can denies every loop if you spam your attack. He can avoid flashlight saves and bodyblock with the cage. The map control is ok as he is fast enough on most maps.

His ranged attack is easy to read and avoid. If the killer wiffs it, the survivor has enough time to go somewhere else. Flashlights saves are already easy to avoid for all killers if they pay enough attention. Flashlight saves are very rare see me when I use any killer. Body blocking being preventable is a thing but it rarely works out from my experience. Generally best case scenario for survivors is that I down the survivor in my way and drop my held survivor so it doesn't change too much and I'd prefer that trade most times (1 hook and injured survivor with body block over just one hooked survivor). You also have to keep in mind that his cages aren't available to him always and have plenty of games you won't get them at all. Many times id prefer a hook over cage since I know where the hook is while cages I don't. He is also slow enough that teams can rush a gen together before he can do much about it.

Then you are asking for something that nobody can provide. I dunno, if i play 1000 games, and half of them have a hook suicide, that is pretty good proof and statistically relevant.
