People just give up on first hook nearly every game
Doesnt matter the map, the killer I'm versing, the killer I'm playing or even the build I use every game has had someone if not multiple people give up on first/second hook. Seriously this needs to be addressed. I dont care if you aren't having the best game or are versing certain killers you are ruining everyone else's experience. Until AI is added in these actions should be removed or punished simple as. 20 games in a row so far.

Yeah I out of frustration go and unhook the survivor even if I know they are trying to die.
It must be the social worker in me that wants to intervene.

Personally I get way more upset about afk players and want there to be punishments for being afk and that the screwed survivors get something to compensate for being sandbagged

The only reason why i would kill myself is when my teammates play like absolute bots. Kindred, bond and better together give me enough information about what they are up to at all times.
I don't care what killer or build i have to face, i do it because of the other survivors.

I me too. Killer is so much less stressful at times since you don’t have to hope you get good teammates and can blame the loss on yourself

They'll never have bots 😂 unless you count the tutorial.

Nah i like letting go at the last second as a survivor is barreling towards me with the killer on their behind. BT or not, the killer will agro me while you get unhook points.

Those tutorial bots are better than alot of survivors, they actually do gens lol
7 -
A simple bot that did nothing but glue themselves to a gen would be a scary thought. Like it or not, potato survivors that are scared of gens keep this game reasonably balanced.

I assume you're in the low/mid ranks cause this doesn't happen very often if at all in my red rank matches. But when it rarely does, yea it sucks. Some people are just very big sore losers/easily frustrated.

Rank 1 both roles, Europe server all morning it was happening
I understand what you mean but there need to be a line, I was burning the game map to try get people to escape for my challenge and they still never do a gen or even leas on a chase... the map is full of god pallets yano it's a joke the killer gets 9 hooks on them before the first gen gets done lol
2 -
Nah this happens all the time in red ranks. Part of why I almost always play killer.

The worst thing is feeling pressured because some people will suicide if they aren't unhooked immediately even if it would be better for a team to finish a gen first for example or wait for the killer to be far enough.
Running towards someone trying to kobe out of spite makes me a little bit pissed off tbh. I mean come on you aren't even close to stage 2 can't you have a little patience? You got down in 3 seconds and you act like someone else is bad for not unhooking you immediately.

So much this. I've had people message me post-game telling me I'm an idiot for not in booking instantly. If my gens about to finish and you're fresh hooked, guess which one is being given attention first. Why would I abandon a gen to possibly return to it regressed when you have like 40 seconds before you hit struggle. The same goes for people who dive bomb at me on a hook. I'll see them on the gen as I'm being carried and suddenly sonic the hedgehog arrives and rips me off the hook before the killer even breathes. If there were people slugged then yes. By all means rush a hook. But when the games calm there's no need for people to act like the games over if you spend more than 5 seconds hooked.

So true.
You can be on a hook for 60 seconds. In that time multiple gens can pop, but some people are so eager to be removed that they just end themselves and their teams chances at victory if they arent saved milliseconds after being placed on the hook.

I guess its a region type of issue. I'm NA East and most of my games are played out. Like I said, its not that it doesn't happen but it def is pretty rare, at least in my exp. I do see more often though that some teammates intentionally speed up 1st hook to rush their teammates to come save them which just ends up hurting the team as a whole and the survivor starts struggling in 2nd hook earlier than they would if they were just patient.
But killing self on first hook I haven't seen in like, 20 of my most recent games at the very minimum and I'm red rank as well.

Its frustrating how survivors have a way of leaving the game without a penalty i.e. killing themselves on hook but a Killer can't dc without a penality.
Double standards

And these are the same people that laugh at a killer when they disconnect and tell him him to get good

Just name this thread. THE SOLO QUEUE EXPERIENCE

Survivors just can't do anything, can they?
We can't live or we're OP. We can't die or we're "ruining the game".
In response to your punishment idea: No. All that'll do is spawn a new way of griefing for killers to camp people more, in hopes they just die "too early" and get punished because a killer camped them.

Killers get to see the characters and their items before entering a match which gives them a chance to dodge before it starts. Give survivors this option too if you want to talk double standards

No, theres no need to quit or bully people. If a killer quits I dont condone it and the dc should be harsher but I also wont help toxic people that bully less experienced killers, I'll just let them die. You're in a game, play it properly or not at all
