Solo queueing against Nurse mains
Solo queueing against players whom have mastered nurse seems like a hopeless match.
I’ve tried breaking line of sight, making as much distance as possible, being unpredictable however it seems it’s impossible for myself and random team mates to make any headway against nurses.
Most matches end with the nurse with around 20k points and survivors below 12k.
Is this a common experience or unfortunate matchmaking ?

How often do you face a high-level Nurse though? Of course, you're going to get destroyed every once in a while. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. However, good Nurses are quite rare, so it shouldn't happen often. If you encounter good nurses often, then yes, that's just unfortunate matchmaking.

Its hard to say. Bc of the rift i played against many nurses, but its sometimes hard to tell if my looping is working or the nurse is just not good enough.
But as solo survivor you need to hope against every killer that your team doesnt fail you. In my experience there is no difference when i play against nurse.

I see good nurses maybe like once a month or so.
It's been a bit more though lately because of the tome i guess,however i don't mind versing a good nurse honestly.

Well that’s good to hear. To be honest if I go against 5 nurses 4.5 of the matches are a complete wipe. It’s very rare, to have a decent match. To put this in context I’m playing at red ranks.

And this is why it’s ridiculous everyone complains about Spirit and Freddy but not Nurse. Nurse has less counterplay than Spirit or deathslinger.
Also killers like spirit, slinger, pyramid and yes even freddy often have to sweat for their wins. Nurse is harder to learn than all of those that much is true but when you reach a certain point with Nurse its actually easier games and victories than with any of those other killers.

I don’t have your confidence, I think I’m at that stage where nurses are my bane in regards to killers. When I started playing dbd it was legion then Doctor and now I need to GiT gUd against nurse 😂

The Nurse is more fun to play against though, in my opinion at least. The reason for this is that when I go down to a Spirit or have to slug through an incredibly long generator time on Freddy, it's just boring and not fun at all. It's more fun to play against a Nurse though because she actually makes the chase entertaining, even if I lose 99% of the time. Spirit and Freddy just aren't fun to go against. Also, getting an average Nurse is also fun because she will never catch you.

In my years in this game I've probably faced a few god tier nurses. The god tier nurse players are a small group the majority are average, some are decent and the rest are new to nurse and bad with her. But anyone is when they start using her.

I faced two in a row one night. We had a Rank 17 with us. You can imagine that was fun. Not much you can do against a Nurse who's mastered it. But man does it suck running into two in a row.

I love facing a good nurse, the pressure they place on a team can really test your skills and positioning knowledge.

I would disagree just because pallets and windows/walls protect you against Spirit, Freddy and Deathslinger, they don’t protect you against Nurse.
The second part I believe is why people don’t mind her as much, because there are so many easy Nurses to beat out there. Likely people doing dailies or practise.

How often do killers usually not 4k though? Of course, you're going to get destroyed once in a while. Sometiems there's nothing you can do. However, good survivors are quite rare, so it shouldn't happen often. If you encounter good survivors often, then yes, that's just unfortunate matchmaking.
Therefore Survivors do not need nerfs, guess we can leave DS.

As long as the nurse isn't godlike it can be really fun to go against her.
It's a completely different game which can be really fun.Unfortunately you rarely see her so it's hard to practice chases with her :/

You have good nurses, and insanely good nurses. Even against insanely good nurses you should have some matches where you get more than 12k points. On the regular good level nurses, you should have plenty of high scoring matches. Nurse is difficult to play against because you have to throw everything you know about chases out the window.

As a Nurse main, I sympathize. I win 90% of my games without addons and a semi-meme build. And as @OniWantsYourMacaroni can attest, I'm not even a good nurse.
Seems more like a matchmaking issue to me - good nurses shouldn't be matched against solos.
That being said, Nurse is much more fun to play against than DS / Spirit / Freddy.

You're right. A good Nurse can't be beaten, at least not by solos. You'd need a 4-man SWF.

Probably the sheer higher player play rates of those other objectively strong killers. Top the fact they're easier to play too. People will complain about something that is more recurrent than once off.

Against those insanely good nurses you spend most of your chase not being scored boldness. So even a really good performance against nurse can finish games at 10k or less bp. feelsbad

A good nurse will always be terrifying, I guess. You don't really have to master her to beat almost any group there, you just have to be somewhat decent. Do you play nurse yourself? She is literally one of the 3-4 killers I play and I have a decent amount of hours on her so I know how a decent nurse thinks. This knowledge makes the chase a lot more fun and easier too.

Is the issue Nurse or solo queue?
Are you saying escape chance would be higher if you were in a SWF or if it was a different killer but solo?
Because playing solo myself, I can say solo survivors suck against any competent killer.

There should be dedicated trash can for all nurse spirit and freddy mains to play against competitive swf exclusively to butt slam each other for eternity in their own hell

Let's be real here. Solo queing against any good killer will be hell. I've gone against maybe 2 competent nurses in the past year.

Terrible argument. as a nurse main with 1.5k hours. She needs a nerf. This argument is also terrible on the other side. Tournament squad SWF need to fixed too. Ideally they should give solo queues more information and ways to communicate (perhaps a way to "ping" things to each other) and do some other things then nerf survivors/SWF or buff killers as a whole to close the gap between solo and SWF.

A pinging system is such a good idea, and there is so many ways of implementing this for example all survivors whom bring in a map can ping items and locations and its highlight throughout the arena permanently for every survivor running a map.

How to play against a newer nurse play unpredictable
How to play against a good nurse use los breakers
How to play against a god nurse, play predictable + use line of sigh breakers
they will be expecting players to use los breakers then play unpredictable so turn the tables by playing in a predictable fashion and they might outplay themselves
that and or stealth

I never said Freddy wasn’t an issue and I’m quite fine with them nerfing him
But look at nurse
96 ish percent move speed which shows how busted her power is that she needs such a huge handicap
One of if not the best mobility in the game depending on map
Ignores loops completely
Can slug extremely well especially with infectious
Garbage addons for the most part since they can’t change her power at all
Very buggy with multiple match ruining bugs present
And people think she’s fine?

i don't mind solo q against nurse unless if i have 3 console players because they still haven't learned how to play against her.
i'd rather solo q against nurse vs. spirit/freddy though that's for sure. most nurses aren't exactly god tier.

Because she takes no skill. She teleports straight to a survivor 2 times and they're a guaranteed down. Literally all there is is putting distance between you and her, which doesn't do much against any killer anyway.

Nurse is so unbalanced, she might as well be removed from the game. I'm thinking like a Freddy-level rework is the only way to fix her, because she is the least fun thing in the entire game.

If you defeat the Nurse, it's because of one or two things.
Either your SWF was just way too good and managed to slam gens harder than nurse can kill you, or the nurse player isn't skilled enough to defeat you.
Nurse is solely based on the players skill. If she's superior to you, you lose... Period. (Which is the way it should be with all killers imo)
If you're superior to her (your team), you win. Solo vs Nurse, you lose... Period. (If she's skilled)

Comments aside, I actually went up against 2 inexperienced nurses. I panic all the same with any killer, but my hysterical screams turn into laughter and sighs of relief when she chases me without knowing her teleport, or lunges into an obstacle.
Those moments keep me going into the fog again and again. Not for the good nurses (where I usually die, done deal), but experiencing my own incompetence versus others (where I might live, I might die, but I hope the other killer is having fun and learning the game more and more) lol

It took me all of 5 matches to get good with her, and I'm only limited in what I can do with her because I'm on console. She's S tier unlike all the other killers because she ignores loops, walls, and obstacles. She's underestimated just because of slow walk speed, fatigue, and a few measily bugs that aren't even intended features. Back in the day, with infinites, old instaheals, old BNP, etc she could keep up with all of that. 3-5 blink Nurse was broken beyond belief of course, but she didn't need that to win against any team. When she got nerfed, instead of her add-ons getting nerfed like it should have been, I was furious simply because she was one of the few killers that could do well against top % survivors. But now I see how right the devs were in slapping a blink cooldown on her. She's broken beyond belief even after that 'nerf'. No killer comes close to her level of power, and that's why I say she'd never ever be released as a new killer today.

I doubt that it took you only 5 matches to get good with her.
Nurse would obviously not be released as a new killer in the current game and the nerfs were justified however only a few players are able to play her perfectly after investing a huge amount of time.
So i would say she's fine.

Yeah this idea is genius. The only issue is the "ping" system. I think instead of optional ones, you make 12 of your own. Swear words would be full of hashtags like "##########" lol. This idea I took from another amazing game, MHW (Monster Hunter World).
