Buy the new chapter with Iri Shards.
If majority of the feedback to trickster was ignored/denied then I suggest fellow disappointed players should just buy the new characters with the shards as they don't deserve our money.

True but people will still buy his cosmetics so they earn money that way. I'm pretty sure they will make him stronger when he comes to live or afterwards in a hotfix if they didn't have time to fix him.

+10 all chapters i got them with shards (Except hag) because shards didnt exist in that time KEKW, anyway i got every licensed DLC aswell excpet pig... so i get both sides.

I've been saving them for the new chapter, there's no way I'm paying cash on that dlc or any others if I don't have to. Honestly the next licensed killer would have to be an amazing one for me to even consider paying for it.

The last chapter I bought with actual money was Blight's. Didn't care about the Twins, bought them a month later with shards and didn't like playing them. I would probably buy this one with money if there potentially is more changes to come on release, but shards might be the route to go.

I paid real money for Plague and I won't make the same mistake again. I won't pay for garbage killers. Unless they release a killer @ the same power level as Bubba I won't pay.

Was just thinking that too, not sure he's even worth the shards in his current state. 9k shards takes forever to grind out. I can definitely appreciate grabbing him just for some of the perks though, I did that with Blight and only played him for about 3 matches

many people here on the forums think they intentionally created this killer to be weak and only to be fun to play against as survivor.
probably the same people that said stuff like this before Blights release. I don’t think many admitted afterwards they were wrong though..

Mechanical wise he's pretty underwhelming.
I'm still going to buy him cause i just want to have fun and ocelotting people with ricocheting blades is fun.
I do expect to lose most of my games with him though and for some people can't have fun unless they win

I'm going to use shards as well. However when they release the Jared Leto legendary Joker skin I will buy that. He looks super similar now so they would not need to do much.

Who's blight, haven't seen that killer for almost a month now. Only thing I see are freddies, Nurses because of the challenge spirits and MAYBE bubba.

I have seen many Blights. And he is considered pretty strong, though harder to learn than other killers.

Stats tell otherwise. Also blight is part of the bottom of the killrates while not being THAT hard to play.
Are we gonna say that a measly 50% killrate killers are viable now?

I can see him becoming a fun killer like Clown. Although I just read somewhere that he will undergo some changes before he is released? Well, I'll wait and then decide how to buy him. xD

I believe the marketing is centered about making the game very famous in the Korean market and selling the base game+Trickster to them than making the western, japanese and chinese markets buy it.
I also believe the last tournament and attemps to market DBD as a eSport is centered about Koreans too, since eSports are huge there.

Yeah im not giving them a cent for the character, I really don't like how bright he is either and was going to buy a skin but im honestly so disappointed with the announced changes that i'll settle with a cheap recolor of him that makes him darker.
In his current state i just refuse to spend money on him at all.

No his perks are pretty good
His expose perk is pretty good on certain killers like nurse or hag both of which i main.
His window blocker perk is also pretty good so i might run that on m1 killers and if i ever feel like playing twins which i never do that perk is probably the best for her so vaults don't screw victor as much.
His perk that blocks the exit gate switches is the only bad perk but since it's 42 seconds which is a long time it might be good on certain builds on certain killers, best i can think of is upcomming wraith with noed+that and then some slowdown.

Fair enough. I do think the exposed perk will get nerfed by the next chapter though, just a hunch but maybe I will be wrong.
