Tired of survivors running away and getting distance on you?

Then maybe a small map with 24 pallets on it will help !

If you're tired of survivors running forward, then maybe you'd like survivors running you around loops !

Problem solved.

*Survivors bring a red forest offering and theirs wins a statistically unlikely amount of times because ######### me apparently*

Also maps like Haddonfield make me wish they were just holding W lol.

You joke but I have noticed that on Game as Pig, while chases can be very hard, they also enter the 'loop phase' faster and thus its much easier for me to beat survivors who are being very agro on gens. I think the pallet density might be much, but it also emphasizes a lot of aspects of DBD I like, which is trying to cut people off, do fade-aways, and break LOS as either side to get an advantage.

Like the problem with W meta is that it IS in part a map design problem. Sure, most killers don't like getting looped, but if your clever you can beat most loops, and the ones you can't are highly 'local' and thus not everyone can always get to them.

The problem is more on maps with a lot of space to run and then tightly clustered strong loop spots easily reachable anywhere on the map. So in terms of W meta, if your a strong looper, game is fine. Its stuff like Midwitch, some Estates maps with very dense ruin formations like multiple L T walls in a row all across the map meaning you can freely just W max distance and then enter a mega strong chain loop, Lampkin, or Badham where you can just zoom off and eat at minimum the time it takes for a survivor to do a gen before the killer even is allowed to try to hit you.

Heck, Game even solves a problem with W meta that is generally map universal, which is 'double gen assaults' where two people tag team a gen, run in opposite directions, and basically will guarantee the gen is lost if the killer commits to a chase, creating a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. There legitimately isn't enough space to do this, meaning while two people attacking a gen at the same time is strong, it is very possible to win chases in a timeframe that doesn't auto lose you the gen.

Who holds W anyways?! I prefer holding S and moonwalking while looking right at the killer.

No one ever said that. One streamer complained how effective it is to do so and a bunch of people started "EnTiTled KillEr MaiN sAys thaT Is ToxiC tO rUn Forward".

Now we'll have 6 posts of this kind everyday for at least a weak...

    Killers killing is toxic.

Did you even try to actually understand what the complaints are about? It's not about "sUrViVoRs RuNnInG tOxIC".

It was about flawed chase mechanics that don't work when needed which creates situations where survivor can run in a straight line for a long time, since it takes a lot of time for killer to catch up to them without chase being triggered.

Is holding W different than survivors moving forward? Please elaborate.

Check page 2 of general discussions if you haven't seen "Survivors holding W" posts. No need for me to link it.

I've yet to see anyone call it toxic, apart from people such as yourself, who are misrepresenting what's being said.

It's because tru3 made a ######### video that made one decent point, in that on some maps it can often be better to just hold W than to run a loop, which is true. That is all. It's an observable fact and that is fine.....

The problem is as soon as a streamer makes a video about LITERALLY ANYTHING, people take that so much out of context and just run with it. Now for the next ######### 2 weeks in games killers are gonna be like "lol noob survivors holding W to win" and dumb comments like that.

Scott made a video about Iron will and then everyone was like "So how should we deal with the iron will problem/nerf iron will?" and it's like jfc guys you didn't care literally the day before that video now there is 20 threads about it in the span of a few hours.

    Precisely.

I would figure there are bigger problems and issues to address tbh.

    I'm joking with this post.

Some people have missed it, the little /s at the start, and the wording.

    I'm just taking the piss
