Certain Killers Attract Certain Types of People?
![CluelessWanderer](https://forums.bhvr.com/applications/dashboard/design/images/banned.png)
This is something that I've noticed since I started playing the game 2-3 months ago. And I was wondering what the experience is like for others.
When I play survivor, I've more often than not noticed that people who play a fair game, or who have a sense of sportsmanship gravitate towards certain Killers. The reverse is also true: Toxic D-bags tend to play certain Killers as well.
For example, there are Killers that almost never camp/excessively tunnel (at 4-5 gens- not talking end game) and who I've experienced have given me the hatch, or they seem to have a sense of justice, when they have noticed I was stuck with selfish team mates.
Then there are certain Killers who I have never seen any such pleasantries. At all. Who will camp/tunnel at 5gens (even at high ranks), and who have never given the hatch or door. INB4, I'm not saying they have to do that. It's just something that after a hard time in Solo queue can be a bit uplifting lol.
Here are my observations:
Killer (in my experience) who play fair, are non-toxic, and can sometimes be "nice":
Plague
Oni
Demogorgon
Doctor
The biggest butthead Killers for me:
Bubba
Ghostface
Myers
Freddy
Huntress
Pig
^ These Killers in my games are more likely to face camp, tunnel, carry you around as last survivor and shut the hatch in your face. I have NEVER been allowed to go with these Killers. I'm not saying I deserve it or it should happen btw,. It's just a thing I notice.
What are your experiences?

Little offtop, but where are you from?

I do believe the combination of easy+stronger attracts a lot of bad players to that role/class/killer/fighter/wathever.
Also the more something allows for scummy plays the higher the chance scummy players flock to it, Leatherface attracts a lot of facecampers because he is the strongest facecamper in the whole game by far. Spirit is the same with proxy campers.

This feels kinda accurate. I'd move Oni to the "big salty meanie" list and ghostface to the "chill killer" list tho
90% of the time, Onis, Myers players, and Freddys will slug and camp. I get that it's part of their playstyle (myers and oni) but is the 4k really that important? Did you really have to slug me in front of the open exit gates and pick me up everytime I got too close to leaving?? (An oni did this one)
Plague and nurse players have been the nicest in my experience. Maybe because it's hard to win with them if you don't know what you're doing? Idk

The only thing like this I have noticed is that Bubba's are typically very memey.

Canada, why?

To me those are Ghostface places, but instead I'd say derpy
For some odd reason Bubba players tend to want to be ######### a lot. Such as facecamping when a survivor is hard to catch, hardcore tunnelling because whatever pissed them off, general camping, etc.

Just wondering, I too had some observations, noticed that people from west countries like Canada or America tend to put labels and categorise people quite a lot, so I was wondering. I assumed you were american, but missed a tiny bit.

I've had a lot of Oni's drop me at the hatch for some reason (maybe they have a soft spot for Grandpa Bill). With Ghostface, I continuously experience them hooking a survivor, going a few paces away behind a rock or tree and stealthing to wait for the unhook.

I assure you that Canadians and Americans can be quite different. I don't necessarily like categorizing, I'm just making conversation, sir.

LOL that ghostface might be me
Won't go after the unhooked person but it's an easy way to build stalk on someone else 🤣
0 -
Well here you are certainly categorising people.

LOL ok then, have a good day/evening! :)

a ghostface literally carried me around the entire map yesterday looking for the hatch to give it to me.
I really don't know why you think X killer attracts toxic people, it's all just biased personal observations. You are looking for X killers being toxic, so that's what you see.

Yeah it was personal observations, and I was asking if it was different for other people.
Holy crap I never realized it would make people this salty. Maybe I can get a Mod to close the thread, I wasn't expecting people to take it so seriously.

Well I can't really say from a survivor perspective cause I don't play survivor a whole lot these days, but as a killer I give hatch to the last person a majority of the time with my most played killers being Nurse, Ghostface, and Trapper. I also will TRY to not tunnel and only kind of camp in endgame.

and now you are looking for salt, so that's what you see.
I was justing speaking matter of factly... that's a saying right?

I'm drawn to whatever Killer stops loops dead. I hate looping and find it the most boring and irritating part of the game. I'd rather M1 a generator.

You seem to be looking for it to be a saying. So that is what it must be.

Blight seems to attract people who aren't sweaty, but can stomp anyways because they're just that good.
Hag, Doc, and stealth Killers seem to be played by the sweatiest people.
Pig attracts people with a full-on superiority complex. They think they're better than everyone else, will sweat so hard the Survivors' monitors will fog up, and will teabag taunt nearly every time they get a down of any kind.
No wonder she's mained by a certain developer.

I see you didn't actually understand.
you should have said. "So that is what you see", not "what it must be".
reality doesn't change because we want it to. we just get a wrong perception of it because of our biases.

No, I'm pretty sure I said what I wanted to say, Yoda.

Didn't say you misspoke. just that what you said was wrong.
also, you should watch more star wars media, what I said is nowhere near how yoda speaks

You must be a so much fun at parties.

What you just said about Pig is honestly so true from my experience.
I've seen some streamers who main pig and if they aren't constantly berating their opponents, they're complaining that they lost because they're playing pig

I mean, I definitely know which killers turn me on...
Oh, you meant something else. My bad, as you were.
In all seriousness, it's not the character, it's the player. The player wants to do something and the character makes it easier to do so. That's all.

Killers turn you on? lol
Ok, you have to tell me :D . I

honey, covid.
there are no parties.

I was joking. I find some killers physically attractive, but I'm not into sociopaths.

Sure, sure...
The nurse avatar doesn't give you away at all.

As a mostly killer main, I enjoy both Doctor and Myers. Honestly it depends on how the match went. If I got multiple hooks, im going to be chill. If I got nothing and 4 gens popped, I'm going to want at least 1k.
Former tends to be Doctor and latter is Myers most times. I think people struggle against a good Doctor (I'm maybe above average) so the hooks and kills work great imo. Myers I have to work harder on, even to find people with Stalk (not the issue with Doctor). So I find that even tierng up is hard on some maps (multi-story like Midwich, Hawkins, etc.). So I end up using builds like Scratched Mirror on small maps to have fun lol after that I tend to chill more
