New MMR is nice addition and probably can solve some problems
Games are more balanced and challenging, and you never know if you can win or lose. If you 4k'd as killer a lot, your mmr is probably inflated right now. It will drop after you lose some games and they'll become more enjoyable. Im exited to see it live. Idk how it works with swf tho. It should use average swf mmr and boost it a liitle for matchmaker since voice comms are stronger than solos
Oh also rip streamers 50+ winstreaks, which should never be possible in first place

It didn't solve the problem of losing to predrop-and-W. In fact, it heavily inflated it. Because apparently skilled survivors just don't even play the game.

let them just go up. To Nurses and Spirits

But they don't. They don't go up. Because there's significantly more predrop-and-W than Spirits, Blights and Nurses. So every. Single. Damn. Game. Is just survivors not even trying to play and winning by default.

that doesn't make sense since every killer has own mmr

But it does make sense. Since the MMR has been using data created by the extremely flawed current rank-as-matchmaker system, someone who has had a lot of wins on, say, Legion due to getting much weaker opponents under the current, broken system, will end up starting under MMR with a High MMR on Legion (due to those undeserved successes).
But yet, in reality, Legion is not anywhere near strong enough to take on High MMR survivors and SWFs. So, that Legion player is now out of their depth.
Nurse and Spirit, and to a degree Freddy, are the very few killers who can take on High MMR survivors, especially SWFs. So, High MMR survivors are going to end up facing a ton of them most likely. Meanwhile, many of the other killers will continue to rot between low and mid MMR.
And until MMR settles, a lot of those weaker killer players who started with a high MMR because of the flawed data collected to get to the point of MMR launch, are going to have some hated matches. Meanwhile, I imagine High MMR survivors are going to get tired of killers like Spirit and Nurse very quickly.
DbD has a host of killer design issues, and I think MMR is going to really highlight that.

It already helped with some of the problems such as matching those who's rank does not match their skill level(such as those who de pip) with those at their actual skill level.

I think If they can get this mmr to work like what Iv experienced so far since they trial it.
My games seem more ballance and it might stop some of the negativity as people judge to fast based on rank rather than skill.

i don't think there is gonna be so much bad matches to get your actuall mmr. What can i say about survivors - tryhard less and don't play swf

I haven't played in many months, and even before I left only played DbD as a side game (Overwatch is my main game on my limited gaming time). When I return when MMR goes into full live mode, I fully expect a miserable experience at first until my MMR settles on several killers.
But I have yet to experience an MMR system in any game where the initial period of the system figuring out your actual MMR wasn't a hellhole. So, nothing new there in video games.

Yh but thats good. Survivor should use the best strategy to win. Its time that the devs see how unbalanced some things are.

Except theres no fix for not even having to play the game. What are the Devs gonna do, buff Bloodlust? Buff the mechanic that killers cheese to make looping impossible?

They could rework some maps. Smaller size and weaker tiles.

you weaken tiles, like most of tilesets in this game have too long walls where there is vantage point for survivor to stand on. The walls so massive that the killer is never able to perform lunge attack regardless if they make good read or not. so like a jungle gym, you shorten the long side of the jungle gym where the pallet is and you may need shorten T or L a bit on each side where window spawns. same thing for Long-wall single pallet short wall.
The hold W problem. that's an issue with again, god pallets and health states giving too much of sprint burst. god pallets in general should not exist period. Like shack needs breakable wall on the far left -> side of the loop next to the pallet. again talking about vantage points, A common strategy with shack window is to stand on specific spot and to pay attention to the killer's red glow length to how far the killer is in the doorway to determine when to fast vault. you fix this by shifting the doorway 2-3 cm to the right. conclusively, perhaps sprint bursts of 2 seconds+recovery are just too long. maybe 1-1.5 second would make less effective. this goes into rabbit hole of exhaustion perks and their impact on the match.
Most of the changes will not really influence bad survivors because bad survivors are not able to utilize jungle gyms correctly or sprint burst off health states so you will not notice much change at lower levels.

Lol it was horrible. You never know how much you miss greedy, big headed survivors that try to extend every loop and save every pallet until you go against teams that drop every pallet safely. As Clown it was so dull. Its just a question of whether you can destroy all the pallets before the survivors do all the gens. The game is firmly in survivors control at that point.
Then I play Pyramidhead and every single chase becomes hold W, while the survivors split across gens. If this happens I feel like my options become play Nurse, Spirit or Billy or quit the game. Everyone talks about switching to Spirit but I’m confident she’s getting gutted soon anyway. Billys whole catch up potential depends on map too. So Nurse or nothing?
Even the mighty Freddy with his 75% killrate becomes useless when survivors predrop pallets.

The new MMR will be a nightmare for sweaty SWF teams. They will face the same killers over and over with no variation. Because only a couple of killers are balanced for top level plays.
