Anyone else loving this new MMR
I finally don't have stupid teammates that won't let me die first hook and I can play other killers that aren't exactly meta

Yep,i love it.
Matches on both sides have been a LOT more interesting
It's great :)

Yes, I like it so far. I have more enjoyable matches.
I wasn't here when the first MMR was implemented, I have no opinion about it, I've just heard it wasn't really good. But this one, I like it and I can't wait for it to be in the game.

I love it. The games have been fun and intense and I actually feel like I'm getting better. I hope they stick with this.

Yup all 6 games have been feelin really good. I solo que at red ranks as survivor and the MAIN enemy prior to this was the quality of teammates, not the killer. But now, I got teammates who can actually run a killer, don't dive bomb, are actually doing gens/bones, not hiding around, etc. Just overall quality of teammates has improved a lot and I love it.
No complaints so far.

It's fantastic. I have gotten the most fun matches i've had in a long time. Most matches feel perfect but every once in a while there's a weird one thrown in with a legitimate baby killer or baby survivors.

No. Can’t play Hillbilly.

Exactly! I actually feel too that I'm learning properly and getting better. And I wanna hug my teammates now, they play well most of the time.

For me it was an absolute disaster as a survivor, i get matched with potatoes in very unfun games (a freddy who slugged and let bleed everyone at 5 gens and a hardcore tunneling bubba) but it was good as a killer since the mmr worked as intended

I had a lot of good games last night, and I feel like the the MMR is working well for me (survivor games). There was only one game where I knew that the killer had a lot more skill than the survivor team (downed everyone in about five minutes, didn't even appear to sweat).
I would say that this matchmaking is looking good.

What do u think jajaja

I need to play more but so far, not bad!

It's weird. Wait times are a bit longer but I'm actually getting competent teammates and killers for once. After only trying it for an hour or so, it's been pretty decent.
4 -
There's still some issues here and there but overall it seems to work.
I see some streamers upset that they'll be facing good players a lot more but honestly I think that's how it should be. Matchmaking before was questionable and trying to balance around it was probably a nightmare for the devs. At least now balancing decisions in the future once it's implemented permanently can be backed by more accurate stats.

too many people are complaining so it won't be kept in sadly.....

Really bad experience so far.

playing as survivor I was teamed with people who didn't have a clue what they were doing, sandbagging, teaming killers. and as killer I went against people who were afraid to play the game and hid in unreachable spots the entire time and others who gen rushed like crazy. The maps I played on didn't help either. I don't main a killer so I can't say I'm good with a specific one.

One killer reported me for cheating because I escaped through hatch before all the gens were done as the last person alive. I'm red rank atm and sure I have plenty of potato moments but I can't be that bad, right?
0 -
Nope. I hate it. I either get potato teammates and baby killers or red rank 1 killers. Makes no sense.

Today's games were great so far, both Suvivor and Killer. I also got to try out Blight (as I want to main him) and I felt like there was time to really play with his kit and learn what he does. I won the match, but it was intense and interesting.

Well if you enjoy making babies cry, then I suppose you enjoy the new MMR.

It was fine for me. I got mostly red and purple rank survivors. Still wasn't trash and didn't camp or tunnel and still got 3 and 4ks with my main killers.

Not at all! I run Kindred simply so I can see if the killer is camping. Since this new MMR I have noticed so much smack and toxic talk about why I didnt save someone when they run right up to a killer camping trying to save a survivor and I am sitting back doing gens LOL. From there I see three players go down in a min and I am left running around saving them,,,so nope.

How do you know he reported you for cheating?

I see nothing wrong here. You clearly went on a killer you never play looking at the non t3 perks, so mmr is working as intended.

The MMR's lookin' pretty good if ya ask me. Gj BHVR, let's hope this goes well...

Except a rank 2 killer understands the game. Doesn't matter if it's the first time or 100th time they've played death slinger... they still have the skill level of rank 2.

Some of y’all are missing the point that this was a TEST. Even after they use this data to course correct it still won’t be perfect because this is an asymmetrical game so perfect balance doesn’t exist.
This was a huge success IMO and I can’t wait for it to go live.

Again mmr is working as intended. It is per killer to allow people to play non meta killers like trapper without dealing with a 4 man sweat squad.
The more you play that character the more balanced your matches will get.
I have not touched billy since they gutted him and i got full brown ranks.
I played nurse and blight and got a mix of red and purple with some random smurf accounts at r20 with t3 meta perks.
3 -
Huge success for me too. I want it back now. TT_TT
I hope we won't have to wait too long before it's live. Gonna miss it a lot.
2 -
I already miss it. I spent 15 minutes waiting to play a game this evening only to get slaughtered in less than 5 minutes by a rank 1 killer with over 1800 hours. What a joke. This is why people leave.
1 -
Who did the killer play as?
0 -
No
2 -
i really hope it stays permanently. suddenly my teammates are no longer potatoes
2 -
Blight. They were very skilled, very good. It's not their fault they got matched with me.
1 -
Oh, I was wondering because I'm rank 1 and have 1.8k hours, lol. Blight is pretty kewl.
0 -
He was live on twitch, I rewatched after the match.
1 -
I feel you. I have 800 hours in the game. I often meet 5k hours Killers. They're too strong for me to even learn something.
But I don't want to be against players who have no clue how to play neither! With MMR, it was fun, both the Killer and I were having cool chases where we had to guess what the opponent was gonna do. I mean, I've learnt from my mistakes, and I felt I improved a bit after playing the whole day.
2 -
Brown ranks should only go against brown ranks. Someone with 2000+ hours as killer, regardless of how many times they've played a certain killer... have no business going against brown rank survivors. You don't lose your understanding of the game because you're playing a new killer.
You could try a new killer and destroy a full brown rank SWF sweat squad with their 1 yellow perk...
