is it just my impression or 90% of the survivors in every match have the same 3 perks Hmmmmm...
Second chance perks, the opera part 54

Dead hard to pallet for free win gg ez.

dude, i met a guy earlier, mf was just impossible, using ph to trigger dh, he didnt fault for it one single time, even when i was close to him, and just tried to time it, some survivors, u just have to hit them 3 times... there's no way

With more and more killers camping and tunneling you have to run DS and BT. For slugging there is unbreakable.
7 -
this singular screenshot proves it!
4 -
lol, maybe they would not camp if they didnt feel like gens go flying by, survivors using constant second chance perks like those, prolonging chases even tho the survivor commits a mistake, or does some dumb play, and dont get punish for it, have u tried not runing heavy gen defense, and going against competent survivors ? if you dont tunnel someone, u are getting 1k and 9 hooks, 90% of the times
2 -
honestly, just play killer, u dont even need my screenshot to see that...
1 -
i do play killer and i pay attention to my teammates (red rank) builds and killers really over estimate how many survivors use smol pp.
mmr is only going to make you see it more because the weirdos who care about rank are going to sweat their asses off.
2 -
would like to see how many ppl would agree with that, lol
1 -
I haven't used Decisive Strike since June. And I never regularly used Unbreakable. At Rank 1.
Dead Hard is an awesome perk and I do use that every game. No lie
1 -
It ain't called the Meta for nothing.
10 -
it is, just suck that you cant win with non meta builds, unless the survivors are being pepegas that is
0 -
But killers tunnle camp and slug because of bt dh and ds and they slug to avoid the ds it’s a loop once survivors stop using the same perks killers will change
2 -
So your saying when killers see a change in survivors they will change, are you kidding me lol ??? Killers all run similar type of perks so will survivors.
3 -
Say it louder for the people in the back. They'll be crying next week when their little ds gets nerfed woooooot!
1 -
But killers run perks designed to lessen and counter the ones survivors use what’s needed is mechanics that shake up the meta the new ds changes is the right step as now killers have counter play to ds besides slugging and a survivor has to make a choice do nothing for a full minute to get a stun or do the objective and lose it
1 -
lol when there's no obsession many killers will immediately tunnel you off the hook. I say that as someone who doesn't run DS.
6 -
lol, i do agree that exists a meta, and the equivalent of ds, dh, unb is ruin(rework cause skill checks are too hard), undyin(nerfed) + some whatever perks that will annoy survivors, but dont even try to tell me, that the first one is as commom as the second one lol
0 -
Oh I know that feeling as well it’s a beep at times but hopefully things will change
0 -
i personally dont to that, but yeah, i saw that happening too
0 -
I dont usually run DS so I would not know but I can only go off of what people much better than me at the game have said. I watch all the vids on this game and everyone runs it. I dont know I have only been playing for a few months and dont know much about it but it is basic human nature to want to run something to win and others to run things to counter that. Thats all I am saying.
1 -
This is something I don't think survivors understand. It's 4 vs 1. Your not suppose to be able to go toe to toe with the killer and stand a chance. Yet the devs keep giving them 2nd chance perks.
1 -
dont quite get your point, once that there's no counter for ds, other than "dont hook survivors too fast"
0 -
My point was simply that people run perks to win and there will be NO killer that will change their point of view simply if survivors start running different perks. Killers are still going to run the same perks so why should survivors change?
2 -
not really, most killer dont really "like" per say, to use meta, it would be extremely more fun to run more interesting build than heavy gen regression every match, but they dont relaly have much of a choice
0 -
I'm not sure what the point of this post is.
4 -
I wish that were true but I see the same killers run the same builds and perks almost consistently every time and they all cant be doing it because survivors run the same to counter them,,,they just like that build and that wont change. For them and most people they will say "whatever works".

i mean, both of us are coming from personal experiences i suppose, but mine is, i have been tempted in only using ruin+undying+twinkerer+ pop or discordance, for a while, still not doing but, slowing getting convinced that i should, most of my friends that play killer too, so... idk

learn how to read the room then, i guess

I get ya, I just play the game because it was enjoyable and fun now it seems like a chore because of getting mixed up with rank 19 survivors and players who DC all the freaking time it just gets old. I am by no means good, I am an average player but, when three players get downed in less than a min and I am running around for ten mins saving wow lol. But I will stop taking up space in this thread, still like the game.

Learn how to make a point.
You seem to be complaining that these perks are in every game, but the one game you share shows you using a ######### meme build and getting a 3 or 4k while going against these perks. And you provide no context for the match so nobody knows when or why that DC took place and how much it affected the outcome.
If you see these perks so often then surely you could have shown us a match that better fit whatever point you were trying to make.
It's not a shock that strong perks get used a lot, especially when most of them come from free characters like David and Bill.
4 -
i guess you missed the part when i said "when the survivors are not potatoes" and one of them dced, they pretty much threw the match... but i am sure you knew about this already, and is just trying to pretend that ppl dont use meta in high ranks, lol anyway, copium store is that way buddy
0 -
Yeah those words aren't in the OP.
And huh? I even say in the comment you just replied to that people use those perks because they're strong and free.
0 -
then we are not discording in anything, we both agree they are bs, and overused, good night sir
0 -
Nah I didn't say that.
1 -
Survivor so OP.
Oh wait, they lost.
Feels like a flex.

There's a meta for sure, but I for one really like running Calm Spirit and Plunderer's Instinct. Plunderer's let's me enter a lobby with nothing to tilt the Killer, but since I have it leveled I often can quickly turn a situation around. Also, I might just be a hoarder 🤷♀️
1 -
well most other perks are complete bs. perks like deja vu and lightweight would never help you out in game
1 -
You use b&c, like 99% of killers
1 -
What's ph ?
0 -
And what do you expect? for them to bring Red Herring, Deja Vu, Camaraderie and Calm Spirit so you could post a screenshot with "Lol look at these dumbasses builds, Survivors these days..."?
People use only 10 perks not because they are super duper strong but because the rest are pretty much unusable trash, extremely niche or have such huge activation restrictions that you wouldnt get to use them in half your matches, its the freaking same for Killers its very rare to not face at least 2 of these 4: BBQ, Ruin, PGTW, Corrupt Intervention, blame how useless the rest of the perks are not how strong the meta is.
Some people are hellbent on nerfing everything instead of hoping for buffs so the pool of viable perks increases and people can try different approaches.
2 -
My build is almost always Spine Chill, Kindred, Dead Hard and a perk of choice (Resilience, Iron Will, Fixated, Small Game, ...). Guess I'm part of the 10%?
1 -
You can tell this guy never touches killer, because otherwise you’d be wondering why op posted this screenshot when we all know we see it every game anyway
0 -
I love Fixated.
2 -
Same, except for Dead Hard! I don't think I'd use it well lol.
I always run Spine Chill, Kindred, and two of choice depending on who has what and what challenges I'm doing (Technician, Self-care, and challenge specific stuff like plunderer or small game). I the Bill and David perks, but I don't get much mileage with em.
I like my simple kit haha
2 -
Dumb survivors didn't read their free copy of the killer's rulebook for survivors smh.
1 -
Never used DS, UB, or DH as a survivor. I have them - I just don't use them.
I have two perks I almost always run and those are Lithe and BT. The other two perks depend on whether I have a challenge to do and whether I am playing solo or with a friend.
As a killer I don't mind any of those three being used as they are easy to counter by not tunneling (DS) and not trying to slug (UB). DH is easy to bait and once it's used way easier to down the survivor.
1 -
I only regularly bring DS and BT out of those and I'd honestly rather use something else but with the amount of killers tunneling and camping these days they're necessary.
