Devs please fix zanshin tactics

Goes into cooldown for 30s after injuring someone. Then I down the survivor exactly after 30s. Back to cooldown. Hooks him and hits another person. Back to cooldown. Didn't get to use the perk at all. Why does this perk have a cooldown????????

Just venting btw. I see the potential with the perk but please devs, get rid of the cooldown. It's so annoying and hurts killer because he has to look down to see if there is actually no pallet there or if my perk is just on cooldown and its just a headache and makes the perk super unreliable and im probably better off not bringing any perk in its place.

Yeah, I too don't understand why such perks even have cooldown.

Even without CD information they provide is barely effective enough to be considered a good perk choice.

Next step should be to make it a hex perk with a cooldown.

That only activates at endgame when you hit the obsession with your basic attack. Now it's perfectly balanced

Perks like Zanshin Tactics, Windows of Opportunity and Visionary shouldn't have a cooldown, it's annoying and these perks aren't powerful enough to deserve one.

I didn't think it was much of an issue but I see your point (regarding 'fix')

I understand the perk is bad but I run perks like these all the time. Some killers might find being able to see pallets useful (like on doctor or PH) and I personally feel like this perk can genuinely help me on killers like clown. Could be wrong but the perk at this state is completely useless. I see why windows of opportunity has a cooldown but I cant understand why this perk does.

i think window should have a cooldown since it's more useful as survivor. but what use i get from using zanshin tactics.

Be funny if someone using Zenshin could negate the effects of a Windows Of Op user, when within Killer radius.

    xD

Its not really an issue, just something that bothers me, haha. :P

I mean, if you can use out of Zanshin Tactics, it is fine. Just for me, personally, I would like to have a complete different Perk. Even on the Killers you mentioned, I use other Perks (e.g. Brutal on Clown and Doctor and Im All Ears on PH), but thats just different playstyles. Most likely the Zanshin Tactics has some good use for some players, just not for me personally.

(And it can also be considered a Learning Tool, but I usually avoid calling Perks like that, since they are not in the Basegame)

But yeah, they can easily buff it. (And regarding Windows, I dont mind the Cooldown on it, I have bigger problems with the Range only being 20 meters)

Yeah I brought it and I find it is always in cool down when I need it and not in cool down when I don't need it

My reasoning is Zanshin Tactics is a newcomer perk (shouldnt be locked behind paid content but thats another story), the perk helps predict where a Survivor may go and when you may eat a stun out of the blue so gives newcomers a bit of a leading on how to navigate a gym or a window maze, I BELIEVE the CD on it is a way to force newcomers to not rely entirely on it so as "here take this little help but dont count on it always, sometimes you will have to think for yourself and extrapolate what you saw when it was active to when its inactive".

This applies to other newcomer perkes like Deja Vu, Visionary or Beast of Prey, they all have activation or CDs so people have to play without them for sometime and apply what they learned when they were active.

I reckon the CD could be tweaked to make it a bit more reliable and consistent.

Probably won't happen but an interesting idea regardless.

You guys actually buffed it. That was quicker than expected. Thank you!
