Possible side affects of MMR.
In my opinion here's what I can see happening. Some are obvious the meta perks and meta killers will be played the most. DS+UB and Nurse and Spirit. But I do believe there could be some other effects. People get joy in winning but even they will want to win another way besides the same two killers. I believe some other killers underplayed but are viable will get played more like Hillbilly and Hag. As well calls to make more perks truly viable since people will get tired of the same thing even more then they already are. But what do you think?

It depends on BHVR. If they decide that having a strong meta is a problem, or listen to the community and decide it is a problem, then we will get a change.
Personally, I hate metas. IMO the ideal state of any game is getting all perks/characters (or whatever the equivalent is) to be equally viable and letting skill sort out everything else.

This would mean everything is equally bad and no reason to use anything. There is always going to be a meta.

MMR was terrible. It’s adding competitive matchmaking to a party game. As solo Q survivor I only got to face the most unfun killers running sweaty builds, as killer I mainly got meta SWFs. I think I would just go play Apex if the system went live.

Only for you. It's only a meta when many people use it and it's successful. If it gets to that point, then there needs to be rework to remove what makes it better than other options.
