Just as the title says, it's a simple question. Have you ever spent auric cells to unlock rift tiers or not? I ask this to understand if a lot of people have done it and if so, why. It's in no way a type of judgment for those who have spent their auric cells to unlock tiers.

    I don't think it's worth it. the clothes are recolors and there are maybe 4 new outfits for repetitive survivors and killers.

    Other than that there are no prizes that are actually worth that money.

    I only spend auric cells if there is a cosmetic like the frostbite trapper skin in the next tier

    I usually get to the end tier. I'm not overally focused on cosmetics anyway and the charms are pointless

    But I am considering doing it for this rift, if I manage to get to rift tier 69 (I'm currently still at tier 46), so I can get my Auric Cells back and essentially get it for free.

    I've had times where I was really burnt out, and the last two I was behind on the rifts. Really wanted some of the final items, so I said screw it and bought em.

    It hurt physically tbh.

    Not sure what insane person would pay 100 bucks to instantly complete the rift. Anyways, it's a bad idea to buy tiers from the auric cells you get from the premium rift because if you complete the rift, you should have enough auric cells to buy the next rift and so on so forth.

    I admit I did for the last premium pass or maybe the one before, I'm not sure. I was trailing behind and had to unlock the last few tiers. It's just my completionist nature. I then spent the other remaining cells on sale skins.

    And, like a fool, I purchased the cells again to unlock the current pass. I have worked my way to tier 50 and am just awaiting the release of the level 4 challenges.

    But after this pass, that's it for me. As I mentioned in a thread yesterday, I no longer have the love or dedication for this game to grind for more unlockables.
