Freddy's "Extendo lunge" has always been in the game
Whenever the topic of the upcoming Freddy nerf gets brought up, I always see people saying they hope his lunge gets nerfed or something along those lines. However, he's always had a lunge that looks too long, but because he was considered F tier by the community, no one played him and next to nobody talked about his lunge since there were more important things to talk about. They might fix the animation for it, but it's been in the game since he was released.

I was playing against survivors that said i was far away from them but i was really close nearly up their butts close.
I think it also depends on internet connection, sometimes it can be glitchy especially when you are on console and playing with pc players.
I always wait until i am up close to get a killer before trying to hit them.
I guess someone will always complain about something in the game.

Giving him a shorter range would just ######### up everyone’s muscle memory

He has the same lunge as all killers, just looks odd often due to latency and his weapon size. He also a smol boi

My babe is a smol boi, and that is why his lunge LOOKS weird. But it is actually the same as every other killer.

It would be interesting to get an even smaller killer like chucky (with the smaller twins model size maybe) and giving him the normal lunge distance. Survivor would be in an outrage for demogorgon shred like lunges from such a small killer without a cool down or anything XD

I dont know why people are really complain about Freddy. I am killer main mostly but also play surv ( I am rank 7-8) and I can say that Freddy is not even my first choice as killer. Yes his lunge attack is strong but I mean he is not that OP kind of thing. I think that only Spirit is problematic due to her nature not even the Nurse which you can do something. I dont know what kind of nerf is Freddy gonna be faced but I really dont understand about him being an OP killer. I think that he is a little bit stronger than average

his lunge is the same as everyone else. it just look weird cause his weapon is short compared to most killers

Freddy seems to have the same hitbox as any killer with the smallest character model. No wonder why he manages to land some exoteric hits. He could use a lunge animation update.
