Smash Hit: A problem? Or not?
Now, we all know what Smash Hit is, the new survivor perk coming for the next chapter. If you don't know then go check it out, I ain't a chapter spotlight.
Now, Smash Hit. Would this be a big problem on maps like The Game, which is basically Indoormond™.
Now, I personally think that yes, this would be a problem since, well, have you seen the amount of pallets on that map? But my opinion doesn't matter, obviously.
So tell me, problem? Or not?

I don't mean to distract from the main point but why do we always have concerns over new survivor perks? Last chapter it was power struggle, and I think before it was any means necessary and for the people.
Smash hit is probably going to have the same effect.

Because I like to start discussions about new perks B)

Oh I'm sorry I wasn't targeting you specifically I was asking in general.

Indoormond lol, stealing that.
Personally I don't think this will shake up the meta much, if at all. The strength of a perk like Dead Hard or Sprint Burst lies in their time-wasting capabilities.
- Survivor gets greedy at a loop and you're about to catch them? No I don't think so, Dead Hard.
- Have a nice gen setup and have culled the local pallet population? Nah I'll just run halfway across the map with Sprint Burst to find a god loop.
Not to mention this perk is very avoidable once you know they have it. Not like you're aiming to get stunned anyways.

I don't think it'll be a problem because it requires resources and if the killer respects pallets or is one of the ranged killers, then it doesn't really do anything.

Anything that isn't Dead Hard is fine in my book 👻

We'll see.
I think it will be very strong. But not as strong as the meta we have now.
Smash hit allows you to make the most distance out of any perk and if you pull it off practically instantly ends the chase. If the killer still follows you after having sprinted 20+m away while they were standing still they are dooming themself.
That said survivors generally don't want to end chases they want to make them last as long as possible and dead hard for distance will still be the best way to do it.
Also conciddering there are many killers like all the ranged ones and powerheavy ones like nurse or spirit that you very rarely pallet stun so it's not usefull in every match up.
It will be good for solo's who can't rely on their teammates to do gens and would rather look to outlive their team then to escape together. Which is kinda a theme for Yun's perks
It's kinda sad to see another perk that the high tier of killers can ignore or laugh at but the low tier of killers will struggle against

Because the actual killer is often disappointing.
