To the hacker's of dbd.

No matter if you're a killer or a survivor, if you hack to win, you deserve to stub your toe everyday for the rest of your life. That is all.

Except you speed-hacking Michael who never got a down with it, I don't know why you were just zooming across the map for no reason, but I appreciate you not using it to win.

Is speed hacking actually a issue in this game? I would have thought things like players location, rate of speed, etc. would be handled server side versus client side and the client is only receiving and displaying the data(such as each survivors/killers location, health states, hit or miss, etc..) being sent to it from the game server(s).

As an example if I see the killer move through a that I pallet that I had just pulled down and hit me that doesn't mean that the killer used a hack to go through the pallet. It could very well mean that on my end my game client didn't get the information fast enough to show that I didn't drop the pallet in time before the killer was past it.

Nah speed hacking is a thing in this game. I've gone against two speed hacking survivors (One as Leatherface, One as Demo, which you can watch the video of in one of my other discussions) and then the Michael I mentioned originally. People say you can't hack on PS4 (the platform I play on) but it's happened three times so far. I had the video of Michael just zooming across the map but lost it somehow, I was playing as dwight and it was the boat map, he didn't win but I vividly remember it.

I have the proof as Demogorgon and it was the most frustrating thing in the world. They were losing horrendously and the Nancy turned it on when it was her and her friend left and I lost because of it. Also your example mentioned is completely different from what I'm saying, what you're just mentioning is server problems, getting hits you don't think should've landed and vise versa, what I'm saying is a Nancy running at permanent Sprint Burst 2.0 speed.

The term hacker is quite insulting to actual hackers. I think the term "script kiddy" would work better in this scenario.

I actually enjoy going against what I refer to as fun hackers the ones that bring people to the top of chapel and out of bounds and #########. However I ######### despise playing against people who hack either very sneakily or blatantly to win.

I’ve seen a surge in hackers recently. I’ve gone against 2 this month alone. Most recently was a Wraith who could teleport to your generators. He’d go AFK and then just appear straight behind people. He’d also stop moving after he picked somebody up but the wiggle bar wouldn’t appear and then you’d just appear on a hook at the other side of the map lol.

The best thing was when I realised what he was doing, so I sat on a generator when he went AFK and then got off it and he teleported to it trying to grab me but I was just sat teabagging him. 😂

He had a username like ‘Anti Gay’ so he’s obviously one of those really edgy teenagers who are just so cool. /sarcasm

Yesterday I played a huntress with aimbot. You may ask "oh come on maybe they were just good, don't complain about good huntresses". As someone who plays A LOT of huntress, I know exactly what throws are and AREN'T possible.

...oh and she was also throwing directly through walls and structures the entire game...

I go to his steam profile, and he has a twitch, go on the twitch, HES STILL DOING IT. Just tracking people through walls and throwing hatchets as if the walls weren't there, hitting every shot because of course he is. How is this ######### even possible?

Honestly the 2 matches I've been in with cheaters were the most entertaining matches I've had in a long time. So...yeah these people should be banned but honestly some of the cheats I've seen are so damn hilarious that I couldn't care less at this point if I actually see one in my match.

I'll never understand any form of cheating to get stuff or to win in games, because that's pretty dang boring.

I'll admit tho, some hacks can be hilarious. Still, crappy way to "win"

honestly giving how ######### hitboxes are with Huntress this honestly sounds like a pretty typical huntress game

Fun Fact: I think it was Titanfall 2, might have been Titanfall 1, but if you were a hacker or cheater you wouldn't get banned, you would get queued with other people who did the same

So basically it was a punishment because literally nobody could die, so it was REALLY boring

That may be annoying, but I ran across one guy who was moving at 120% or so as Clown before his changes, there are people who try to hide their hacks and go to the minimal, use it as a crutch instead of just "fun".

Well bearing in mind I've faced 6 hackers in just over a month I actually hope they get worse.

4 of those was the same hacker with infinite tier 3, with Tombstone Myers. When you add speed and wall hacks to it then you understand why the games went bad.
