I'm just going to replace DS in my Claudette build with...
Borrowed Time, I guess.
On Claudette I use SC/DS/Lithe/BK...
Seems like the easiest thing to do would be just swap DS for BT.
I wonder if this will be the norm, or if DS will continue to be used as frequently as it currently is.

Why not just use medkits instead of sc and bk?
I will still use ds because I don't want to farmed and rehooked.

I never used Ds out of me feeling it was too powerful and the changes don't effect how I feel about me using it honestly. I do ds will still be used in top 10 most used perks but will drop back a few spots.
As far as borrowed time I like it a lot but it depends on what your build is honestly. I like using borrowed time with botany knowledge, self care, and dead hard

Didn't really use it. Probably still won't.

The first week is going to be so good. Everyone will drop ds in protest and discover what real tunnelling is when no lobby has an obsession
Give it 2 weeks before survivors use it again.

I honestly hardly ever get tunneled in Solo queue.
4 -
I've had plenty of games with no obsession and no one getting hard tunneled.

My other builds are
DS/UB/Soul Guard/Lithe (or DH) with a med kit on Bunny Feng
Hunch/Inner/QQ/Head-On on Ice Cream Steve
Appraisal/AitH/Plunder's/Lithe on Blendette
The OP build I posted is just an easy/casual build that allows for easy pips.

I'd agree with you. But lately, it seems like if one person brings in any item (even a map), you get hit with Franklin's. I've straight up stopped bringing in items and offerings because I don't want them to be wasted. If I leave with an item I find, it's a trophy and nothing else.

I've never needed items to succeed, either, but I must admit, the Appraisal Build I posted was surprisingly nutty in how often it changed the game and, on occasion, allowed for free escapes.
As you have no item in the lobby with this build, you never get hit with FD :)

You can win the game a lot of times by playing perkless too. I just recently started using medkits so I can heal myself once or twice or heal my teammates faster because I am not using we'll make it.
Self care takes a lot of your time, never was a fan of it after they reduced the speed. Dunno how much bk improves it but doing it against sloppy is bad idea imo. You should be doing gens and being injured from time to time shouldn't bother you too much if you plan and you are aware of your surroundings and loops.

As a survivor I never used DS because I am a killer main and I despise the perk. I think DS will still be meta after it's change. It just won't be ab-usable anymore.
Most of the time I run WGLF+BT. An exhaustion perk. 4th perk depends on if I have a medkit. If I don't I bring IS, SC, Bond, or pharmacy so I can cure myself/find someone to heal me. If I do have a medkit I put on something like spine chill, kindred, dance with me ect.

I deal in absolutes, I need definitive answers don't gimme so many options wahhh jkjk
what exhaustion do you prefer bc I tend to flip between dead hard and sprint burst. As for the 4th what do you tend to use more often? I only ask bc I'm usually so indecisive and can never make up my mind on things. Plus I wanna new survivor build to use.
Much love Joshua ;) I see u around here alot

I completely agree with you there. For some reason, no matter what items I brought in, I'd end up being the focus of attention in the game. When I went in bare handed, I had more fun because the killer would not come for me as much.

Lol if there is no obsessions I will definitely tunnel the unhooked one just like how did all survivor tunnel gens

DS will still be a meta perk, this nerf does nothing.

My go to survivor build is Lithe, BT, Stake Out, and Inner Strength and occasionally bring a medkit or toolbox with charge and speed add-ons.
Despite some maps I've found Lithe to be the most reliable exhaustion perk for me.
BT for those saves that need a little help since solo queue makes it harder to get off safe rescues.
Stake Out gives a nice little BP bonus but also helps clip through gens or heals in a pinch.
Inner Strength promotes doing bones and gives quick heals against Sloppy and the like, and if you've cleansed before a chase makes heals much faster than SC or Brown and Yellow med kits.
For a med kit I'll bring one as a back up in case I can't get any totems for IS or for late game heals before unhooks or protection hits.
Tool boxes are usually just for sabo dailies but occasionally I'll get the wild idea to bring one to power through the first gen a little quicker.
The biggest problem with my build is when I get killers like Wraith, Meyers or Slinger on maps like The Game or Hawkins where I can't make decent use of the killers TR, there aren't many vaults, and totem spawns are more hidden.

man theses short names for perks gave me a headache. but i think you should replace self care+botany knowledge with inner strength (if you have it), and use the other perk slot for ds. seriosuly ds is such a good perk when you get camped at the endgame

Oh I also have a Claudette build. I use We're gonna live forever, Iron Will, Sprint Burst/Dead Hard and Borrow Time. I used to run DS, but I never got to use it xd

My current build is DS/WGLF/IW/PT, and I don't see that changing. Only perk I'd swap would be PT for something else but considering how everyone continually underestimates this perk and how absolutely bullshit op it is, it's probably gonna stay for a bit.
DS is there to make sure I don't get tunneled, and I'm going to keep it to make sure I still don't get tunneled.

Throw out self care adopt iron will. You wont believe how often that perk will save you from being spotted or allow you to straight leave a loop while a killer is mindgaming themselves. I reckon a majority of the games i have lost has been to the self carer who let others hit 2nd stage instead of just making the rescue whilst injured.
Ds has wronged me too often to ever feel good about using it from my kiler experiance. Thinking because it has less abuses its suddenly bad is opening your team to some awful tunneling. Trust me packing ds is sensible.

As for which exhaustion perk I prefer. I like Dead hard but it really sucks when I go up against a bubba/billy that only uses their chainsaw. Been switching it out for SB for those "oh shi@" moments. Like when GF sneaks up on me when I'm working on a gen. Sometimes to mess around I'll use dance with me+lithe or q&q+head on.

Kindred has been pulling its weight during recent solo testing.

Try replacing Lithe and any exhaustion perk with something non exhaustion related, I stopped using exhaustion perks and honestly it's done me really well, saves me an extra perk slot.
I run Aftercare, Borrowed Time, We'll Make It and We're Gonna Live Forever.
Super useful solo queue build, gets your teammates back in the game quick and gives the info to others to know things are fine, also helps locate the killer.
