Devs, is this true about the Trickster's music?
I read somewhere that Behaviour sourced a music producer from South Korea (who worked with BTS) to make the Trickster's music. Is this true?

I heard they got caught murdering people and recording it but when confronted with the evidence, they just claimed it was faked for a new killer they created.
Then they had 72 hours to throw together something and thus created this Joker wannabe.

I dont know for sure if the music for Trickster was made from him but I do know that the producer did help with the chapter, maybe they did help with the music

They've worked with Kevin Woo, who is a music producer who's worked with groups like BTS, yes. I don't believe he's from South Korea though, pretty sure he's a fellow Canadian.
However, I don't know if he was involved in creating the chase music. I don't think he was, as I believe his role was just consultation about the K-pop industry.

hahahahaha
I didn't think of him as a Joker wannabe, but after reading your comment I can see why his aesthetic could give that impression.

Oh that's interesting. Do you remember where you read that? I tried finding an actual article before posting in the forums and came up short.

That's one of a good number of articles that say "Developer Behaviour Interactive teamed up with Kevin Woo from the K-Pop band U-KISS and DJ Swivel, a Grammy-Award winning, Canadian music producer who has worked with groups like BTS. Both will help make sure the K-Pop industry and community are accurately portrayed."
I think I misread the quote, though. DJ Swivel is the Canadian music producer who's worked with BTS, and Kevin Woo is from the K-Pop band U-KISS, they're different people. Regardless, I'm still pretty sure neither had a hand in the chase theme.

Which sucks more is that if Behavior was fully in charge and not collabing, they couldve made the Trickster's lore much better. The Kpop music industry is actually kind of messed up and they treat those singers poorly to make them these big idols and symbols, but because producers helped with the chapter they make the industry seem perfectly ok and not corrupt, even though Caleb's (Deathslinger) was about being used by the system and knowing the world and where he lived will always treat him bad.

Thanks! I Googled stuff like "DBD trickster music" and just got lots of videos of the music itself, forums of people commenting on it, etc. I haven't visited IGN before so maybe the algorithm didn't think that was what I was looking for. Appreciate you sending this!

Now that I think about it, he really does look like Joker. Swap out his pinkish hair for green and boom, Asian Joker. Then again, the devs have used similar ideas and designs for multiple other killers. Hillbilly being rather like Leatherface, Trapper like Jason etc.

But but he's hot though 😅
