Who would like a Hostel chapter?
Personally I would really like to see the Hostel franchise have it's own chapter in DBD.
Imagine how grim the factory from the first two films could look.
Paxton could be the survivor, with the black suit and leather gloves as one of his skins.
As for the killer, the masked woman/archer from the third film would be interesting, but she's not associated with the factory. Also, it could feel odd having a Hostel killer that's not dressed in the traditional Elite Hunting clothing (dressed in the red suit/apron/gloves/mask/cap). So maybe go for a default client ('The Client') as the chapter's killer.
Any Hostel fans here?

I’m not sure that this will ever happen but I am a fan of Hostel and would love to have Paxton as a survivor. Do you have any ideas on what ability the killer would have?

For a second I thought you making refence to the the Hostel from India... Because When I searched it online I got sent to a few Indian series...

Not sure how Hostel would fit in DBD. I know only of the ones from 2005 and 2007
TBH I would love to have a killer that's doesn't have a humanoid form for once.

To be honest, I hadn't given a killer power much thought.
Well if they went with the Masked Woman/Archer from part 3, that would be a simple crossbow ability. This could make her another Huntress in some respects. This was why I considered her as a killer: she has an obvious ability and she looks very creepy.
If it went down the preferred route with a part 1 'client' as a killer, the options for a power are not so obvious. Maybe the killer has a perk called Valuable Asset or something. The client desires the most sought after prey. The best performing Survivor with the most bloodpoints gives double bloodpoints if hit/hooked/sacrificed.
Maybe the killer has the ability to kill survivors after a suitable amount of punishment has been given.

Had a thought maybe have a twist on the story.
Feature the factory, with various torture rooms exhibiting different victims etc. Have it also feature numerous dead clients (traditional red clad, surgical masks etc). The clients would have arrows stuck in them, pinning them to walls etc.
It turns out the Masked Woman/Archer from part 3 has visited Slovakia and run amok in the Elite Hunting factory. She's murdered all the building's customers with her crossbow.
As a power, she could torment her prey with her arrows.
She could collect more arrows in the same fashion as the Huntress and her hatches.
A survivor can be hit with arrows which remain in the survivor until they're emoved.
Survivors can function with two arrows attached, but a third sends them in to the dying state.
The survivor can remove the arrows, but by doing so they're faced with a difficult skill check. If the survivor competes the skill check, they pull the arrow out without commotion. If the survivor fails the skill check, they pull the arrow out and cry out in pain. The killer is notifed of their position.
I would prefer the a client in style of part 1, but the part 3 Masked Woman would be a very cool addition. Although it mixes the timelines with Paxton, the factory and the Masked Woman...Hostel would be a good fit for DBD in my opinion.

Yes I'm referring to those two films and the third installment (imo the original is great, the second had a few good moments and the third was pretty mediocre).
I would love a Hostel chapter. I think it's a perfect fit for DBD.

I feel the community is almost giving up on the hype and dreams of new characters like this due to no enthusiasm from the developers and the stubbornness of them not even wanting to listen to the fans at all...sucks . The fan ideas are amazing but again...devs don't want to bother

I've seen a few fan-made chapter concepts and some look very good. There is also plenty of decent fan-made chase themes on there too.
I for one would like an Alien chapter.

I really enjoyed the first 2 movies...never seen third one. Yeah give me paxton as survivor and take my money.

I'm good with the map, but I can't think of a killer that would be vastly different from what we already have.
The three fingered guy from the first film would make for a decent Survivor, but he should have a gen repair speed handicap :p

If we are letting Hostel in might as well let the lady from Teeth in. Or Human Centipede.

Well we have the Saw franchise catered for. Granted, the original 2004 Saw film isn't as grisly as the original 2005 Hostel film, but the Saw series as a whole is. Also, Amanda in her Pig carnation, wasn't revealed until the sequels.
Also, I haven't seen Teeth, but I would say Hostel (regardless of the gore) is of a much higher class, in terms of quality and marketability, than Human Centipede.

True, it could look rather like mixture of Lerys and Gideon, but the setting would be fitting. It would be interesting to see what easter eggs would be included.
Hopefully they could overlook gloved Paxton's finger count! 😄 Maybe give him a perk called 'Three Finger Discount'.
