The Game map

All the killers should just go AFK whenever they get the Game map until something is done about it.

It's the most braindead boring map they have ever made(I'm not saying the strongest survivor map, just the most braindead). The amount of pallets and their safety is atrocious on this map and the gameplay is just extremely dull.

For survivor it's also extremely boring, almost no windows just braindead safe pallets you just run through and throw while your team is slapping gens. 0 concentration or skill required.

Can we finally get it fixed?

I mean, this is how The Game always has been. It was always boring gameplay, just looping safe Pallets.

The Game map is hated by both side. As both survivor and killer main I really hate that map cause it is really bad for both side in my opinion. But probably it will not be fixed soon sadly. My only hope is not spawn in that map.

Unpopular opinion: it's my favourite map.

At this point it seems like pretty much everyone has said it’s insufferable. Even the fog whisperers that try to be positive have been negative on it.

I worry that it will be left for years. Maps are some of the most pressing issues in the game. I’d rather they just hold off on new maps or new reworks and do a pass on all the maps we have so far. The fact that they won’t even acknowledge it is the worst part, look how quick they were to acknowledge and revert survivor animations. But when killers have a problem with the maps its just silence for 4 years. Why are players treated with such disregard and contempt?

The Game has always been awful.

Yes but no. Before the amount of pallets wasn't that awful at least. Now I feel like every possible pallet spawn is filled and I wonder if something is bugged or idk.

Anyway from now on I'm just going AFK every single time I get sent to this map. I don't care if I get banned, I want to play a game, not braindead pallet breaking simulator. And I feel everyone should do this.

The issue is bad teams get absolutely demolished on this map because it's pretty small and squeezed in so I guess the "StAtS" show that it's killer-sided.

I mean, you complained about The Game being full of safe Pallets with no Windows. This was always the case.

And the Pallets are probably there to compensate for Deadends which can happen because of breakable Walls. IMO they should remove the Breakable Walls (it is fine if The Game does not have any of them) and remove the Pallets they added to compensate.

But in the end, you will have the same boring gameplay like always on this map - just running around safe Pallets.

In fairness, they have already been adjusting in quietly in the background. It doesn't spawn near as many pallets as it did when first released. How do I know that? I regularly put it in as a map offering to complete Rifts that want me to destroy pallets. It is not the reliable Pallet Town it was before. Don't get me wrong; it still has a healthy number, but I have been finding it within tolerance.

I'd agree with the general comments, but have found as a Killer that avoiding breaking the walls on The Game does improve win likehood. Any other map, a breakable door is only a disadvantage to the killer, as there's usually a window nearby.

Haddonfield would like to say something about that.

As long as I can find and see the survivor I'm fine.

what isit with indoor maps that the devs have trouble making fun?

hawkins = 90 percent of the pallets are very unsafe

game map = 90 percent very safe/god pallets

slient hill map= breakable walls inbetween strong loops, lots of strong pallets, double pallets within 1 metre of eachother in courtyard

why cant we just have a 50/50 or close enough to a 50/50 sided indoor map, they all suck.....

Pallets on Hawkins are actually pretty good if you know how to use them. There are some awful ones but there's a lot of good pallets and some of them are really well designed as it requires survivors to actually think and allow for mindgames rather than braindeadly throwing a pallet and being already safe.

off the top of my head, there are a few pallets in the centre of that map which are very strong for survivor, which u kinda have to break but almost every other pallet around the centre and upstairs is actually very unsafe. theres a reason why streamers normally say they hate that map. its just not very fun for either side and boring to play.

otz goes in depth about the maps and mentions how easy it is to work around pallets.

I hate how a ton of people say “mindgames” when in reality it’s usually “bloodlust” at the unsafe pallets

As a Dr/clown main I'm pretty sure I've 3-4ked every single game I've had on the reworked Game.

Of course, I don't run meta perks. I favor Brutal and Enduring/spirit fury. Maybe that's the difference.

If you panic vault at corner pallets of course they gonna suck, you need to look at them "wider", the loops usually extends to walls, you need to change your usual mindset when playing on Hawkins.

I do agree that Bloodlust kinda destroys the fun factor of the pallets on this map however ^_^ From the other hand if you need to get bloodlust 2/3 to get one hit you are probably wasting a lot of time which other survivors are(or should be) spending on gens.
